For several days, Drake roamed the forests of Kenit, foraging for fruits to sustain himself. He knew he had to leave the kingdom and start anew in a different country. Using his sharp intellect, carefully planned his journey to the other side using the world map of the new world from his memory , considering the safest and most efficient route to take.
During his journey, Drake encountered various monsters such as goblins, orcs, and a variety of slimes. However, he tried to avoid most of them to conserve his magical energy. Drake used his ice magic to create a suit of body armor and a sharp ice sword for protection, and crafted an ice box to store all the fruit he foraged. At night, he built an ice igloo to rest in and repeated this routine for the next few days of his journey.
One day during the nightfall he was attacked by 3 Fire fox they were able to easily break his ice igloo and his ice armor by spamming their fireball at him . Drake tried to avoid and shield most of the attack but 3 fire fox was too much too handle for his small body therefore he tried to fire off a concentrated energy blast and kill them simultaneously but this caused drake to drain a lot of his mana therefore losing is conscious and fainting .
One night, while resting inside his ice igloo, Drake was suddenly attacked by a pack of three Fire Foxes. Despite his efforts to shield himself with his ice armor and dodge their fireball attacks, the creatures were too strong and too much for his small body to handle and fire foxes managed to break through his defenses. In a last resort, Drake gathered all his remaining mana and unleashed a concentrated energy blast, which defeated the Fire Foxes but also caused him to collapse from exhaustion.
The next morning, Drake regained consciousness and saw a majestic creature standing in front of him who can talk human language and look like a griffin fused with a lion head.

Griffin called himself Leo , Leo requested for a duel with drake 1v1 if drake is able to defeat leo he was ready to be drake familiar. Drake asked Leo why did you not kill me and ate me while I was fainted. You could have avenged your fallen fire fox death. (Drake asked this question not to get answer but to stall leo until he figure out a way to escape ) Leo replied, "The only reason I spared your life was because I wanted to meet the human who produced such a large amount of magic last night, and I was surprised to find that it was a mere child. So I waited for you to recover, so that I could challenge you to a duel, young one. What do you call yourself?"
Drake spoke calmly but firmly, "Leo, I appreciate your interest in dueling me, but I do not see the point in fighting now. As you can see, I am still recovering from the battle with those fire foxes, and I am not at my full strength. If we fight now, it would be unfair, and you will obviously win. I don't believe you want to kill me when I am still recovering, do you? That would be no different from attacking me while I am sleeping. So, can we postpone the duel until I have fully recovered? It would be a fair fight, and we can both show our true strength." (Drake was already fully recovered but Leo overall magic power is more than him and he won't be able to withstand even 1 hit from Leo .Only way for drake to win with his current small fragile body is to avoid every hit and continue spamming attack but Leo is probably blessed with beast attribute therefore it will be harder to kill it or run away from it. So his only option was to stall until he found a way out.)

Leo replied I see that makes sense so how long will it take for you to be fully recovered??
Drake's plan worked. He was going to use this opportunity to say it will take 1-5+years but from the way Leo spoke Drake doubts he will wait that long and probably kill me immediately even if Leo has his pride. So to be on the safe side Drake decided to say it will take me 7days for me to be 50% recovered and 1 month for me to fully recover. (Drake could use this 7days time to figure out and escape )
Prideful Leo replied very well I shall wait for 1 month. Do whatever u must to prepare for the duel I casted Lock spell on you after 1 month we shall meet and duel Goodbye until then and Leo flew away
Drake was surprised that Leo actually picked 1 month and casted a Lock spell now it is impossible for Drake to escape . (Lock spell is similar to Gps/tracking devices from his old world )
Drake decided for next 1 month he will heavily focus on training until he is strong.
