Chapter 8"The Dungeon Challenge: Seeking Strength and Riches with Hielo"

Meanwhile As Drake and Hielo conversed, Hielo asked Drake about his sudden departure from the village. Drake explained that he saw no reason to stay without money or communication skills. Curious about Hielo's age and expertise, Drake inquired about the True Pegasus and their relation to the Pegasus Knights in Zotero Kingdom. Hielo, who was 710 years old and knew almost every language , revealed that the True Pegasus were the original ancestors of the Pegasus Knights, and could even rival the power of Ancient Dragons - the strongest species in the New World.

Suddenly, Hielo sensed humans from the village approaching their direction. Drake urged Hielo to hide and let him handle the situation alone, thinking they might be the merchants' bodyguards. Intrigued by how they managed to track them down, Drake decided to stay and investigate. Drake waited patiently on the top of the tree for the approaching humans to come into view. As they got closer, he assessed their appearance and realized they were the bodyguards of the merchant. Drake decided to take preemptive action and shot a few small ice shots in their direction, hitting each of them in non-vital areas to immobilize them. He then approached the bodyguards and demanded to know how they were able to track him down. The bodyguards did not understand what drake said so they did not reply .Drake then orders Hielo to come and intimidate the humans and interrogate them. The bodyguards trembled as they spoke, clearly intimidated by Drake and Hielo. Drake listened carefully to Hielo's translation. The bodyguards said one of the slave girl kids told the rest 6 slave kids ran away towards this direction . Drake was able to understand the situation and asked who hired you and give me every detail about it. Hielo translated the Master word . The bodyguard then said We were hired by Baron Caelum. He's a wealthy noble from the Black city that all we know. Drake ordered Hielo to kill Baron Caelum and the rest of the bodyguard and free the slave kids. Before the bodyguard could beg for mercy their head was chopped by Hielo ice shard and hielo ate them leaving no trace of their death or their ice magic but drake ordered Hielo to spare 1 of them to collect info.

Hielo took to the air in search of similar-looking bodyguards in the nearby area, and soon found their dead bodies and an empty cart. He searched around for the slave kids, but they were nowhere to be found. Hielo then gathered all the dead bodies and brought them to the spare bodyguard, asking him if these were the same bodyguards who were hired by Baron Caelum. The spare bodyguard trembled in fear and confirmed that these were indeed the same bodyguards and that the dead man was Baron Caelum himself. Hielo then asked if this was the total number of bodyguards, and the spare bodyguard replied that it was, including the baron. Hielo conveyed this information to Drake, adding that the slave kids were likely able to successfully escape because of the distraction caused by the dead bodies of Baron Caelum and his men.

Drake assumes the malice boy was responsible for their death and asks Hielo to destroy the dead bodies and spare the guy without any trace as a punishment so that the slave kids will be free .

After witnessing Hielo's incredible strength, speed, and communication skills, Drake was impressed and decided to ask Hielo to train him to become stronger and learn all the languages he knew. Hielo agreed to train him but pointed out that Drake was already strong and perhaps the strongest human kid in the world. However, he knew Drake wouldn't take no for an answer, so he offered to take him to a nearby dungeon that he had scouted out earlier during drake time in the village. Drake eagerly accepted the offer and climbed onto Hielo's back as they set off towards the dungeon, ready for his training to begin.
