Werewolves? Alphas? Mates? What???(on hold)

Chapter 6

~Hope's POV~

I watched in shock as a bunch of vampires speed into the room. Wait how did I know it was a vampire? And how did I know that these others are werewolves? This is so confusing but for some reason I wasn't scared of the wolves I wanted to protect them?

The vampires were making me angry with just there presence. I was looking around and right when I was about to ask what was going on I watched as a vampire ran up to Nate and knocked him out with a punch.

This made me really angry and I wasn't sure why. Before I could question myself I felt this sense that something was coming over me. I couldn't fight it off and before I knew it I felt myself shift.

I looked down to see paws? What! I couldn't control myself I could only watch as me/the wolf pounced on the vampire and ripped it apart. It seemed that doing this snapped everyone out of there shock and the werewolves stared to attack, I was killing them left and right.

But what I don't get is that I never learned to fight and here I was seemingly a pro at it. I heard a whimper and looked to see a wolf about to be bitten. I instantly pounced and killed the vampire. The wolf looked at me gratefully and I smiled, well as much as a wolf could.

You see I was inside my body watching as this all went down. I was shocked that this was actually happening and that the wolf was really me.

I looked around to see that all that was left was two wolves fighting each other. I instantly knew that one of them was Brad and one was someone from Nate's pack. I didn't know which was which so I could only watch. I watched as one pinned the other but I instantly turned when I heard a groan and saw Nate waking up looking frazzled. He seemed to just realize something and then he shot up like a bullet looking around quickly.

~Nate's POV~

I woke up to my head pounding like it was about to explode. As I started to wake up I remembered where I was. I didn't feel sparks so my mate wasn't by my side. Wait, if she wasn't by me where was she?!?!?!

With that thought I shot up looking around for her, praying that she wasn't hurt. I looked around until I saw her staring at me in confusion. When I saw her, I sighed in relief and I ran over to her using wolf speed and pulled her into my arms in a tight hug.

Thank god I thought I lost her, again. I had her in my embrace and I never wanted her to leave it.

"Wow!" my beta, Lucas said in astonishment. My mate looked at him with a look of shock.

"What?" She asked

"you are a pure white wolf!" He said back

"So...... Your point is?" she said back sounding annoyed.

"Hun, white wolves are rare they are the female alphas. There are not many left in the world!" My beta's mate, Jordan said with a kind smile at Hope.

Hope's mouth made a 'o' shape like she finally understood. "Wait does that mean my brother is a wolf to?" She asked in confusion. She looked adorable when she was confused. "Oh about that, if you are a wolf your whole family is but the problem is your brother is.... Well he is a full human."I said with sympathy in my voice.

"That means that......" I nod at her telling her that he isn't her real brother. Tears father in her eyes but she tries to hide them. "Um.. I need a minute alone" she says before walking out of the room. I sighed,feeling bad for my mate.

I was going to follow her but Jordan stopped me by saying "Let her cool off, girls don't like guys seeing them cry." She said with certainty. I nodded and sat down.

"I feel bad for her you know, this is all hitting her at once." I said looking at the ground. "I know but better to get it over with all at once then spreading it out." Lucas said. I knew he didn't like seeing his Luna sad, no one in the pack did. Especially me, she was my mate I was supposed to protect her.

I wanted to go and comfort her but I didn't know how she would react so I stayed put for now. I wonder when she will figure out that she is my whole world. "Wait so she was a wolf this whole time? How come she don't smell like one?" My beta asked in confusion.

"She isn't a werewolf dude." I said to him. "We'll what is she then?" Jordan asked. "She is a shape shifter." I said in a low voice. "But that means she is...." Jordan started "special"I finish for her. She looks at me but sighs and nods knowing that is all I will tell her.
