Chapter 9

~Hope's POV~

"Come on! One more store!" Jordan had said enthusiastically . "Noooooo." I whined. "We have been here for hours! You might end up killing me from all this shopping! I swear."

Yep i said shopping, they had begged and begged me to come, i was so annoyed that i had finally said yea just to get some peace and quiet. She sighed but said "Fine." Mental dance pa.... You know what never mind I am to tired. I sighed in relief and headed to the car before she could say anything else or change her mind.

She rolled her eyes at me but followed me back to her car anyways. She had gotten about 50 bags worth of things for herself and about 60 for me. I honesty don't know why I need 7 bikinis but apparently I do. Anyway when we got into the car 'Scream an Shout' came on I smiled and started singing along to the song. Jordan and Brittany both sang with me.

I like a lot of different types of music so don't judge. From hip-hop to country and pop to rock. I like most types of music. The whole way back to the pack house we sang and listened to different songs. Not that I would admit it but I was missing Nate, apparently it has something to do with being mates or so I have been told.

~Nate's POV~

My wolf and I were pacing around. The girls have been gone for 5 hours now and I was staring to get worried. I usually wouldn't but this involves my mate. It's different now. "Dude calm down Jordan can live in a mall, they are fine, They would mind link us and tell us if something happens or they were in trouble. So seriously chill out." Lucas said to me. We were relaxing in the living room. Drake was with us. Since all our mates were there it kind of made since to wait for them together.

For a little while I did paperwork for the pack but it has all been completed now, I keep up with these thing and Lucas takes care of some things as well since he is my beta. "I guess your right." I sighed, flopping down on the couch beside him. He smirked at me and said "you know it." He is probably the only one who would talk to me like that others would be to scared to but he was my best friend so I didn't mind.

We sat there for awhile just sitting and talking about random stuff when I heard a car come down the road. By now it had been about 6 hours and I could tell they were getting worried to. We held our breath as the car stopped and a door opened. I smelt the scent of Jordan, Brittany and the intoxicating scent of my mate. When we smelt it we all took off running out the door to the car.

When I got there I picked up my mate and held her to my chest and promised myself I wouldn't be letting her out of my sight for quite awhile. By the way she was holding onto me I don't think it will be that hard to convince her. I buried my heard into her neck, taking in her scent and smiled, I relaxed completely.

She giggled at me an said "miss me?" I just gave her a look that said 'what do you think' she giggled again and pecked my lips. Her laugh was a melody I wanted to hear for the rest if my life. I pulled her to me and placed another kiss onto her lips.

"Hey, Hope come get your bags." Jordan said to her. She groaned and said "I don't even know what is in half of those bags!" Jordan just giggled and said "you will thank me later."Hope got a curious look in her eyes and walked over to the bags cautiously. She looked at them but her eyes widened when she got to one of them. She looked wide-eyed at Jordan then blushed and shot her a glare. Brittany just giggled and said "told you!' I was confused.

What was in that bag?? When I went over to my mate she hid the bag and said "no way! This is not for your eyes." I looked at her in amusement and she just blushed. She looked adorable when she blushed. I grabbed most of the bags in the trunk and carried them up to our room. Leaving only the one in her hands and a few other for her to carry. She seemed grateful for that and pecked my check in thanks. I grinned at her and kissed her again.

She looked at me with a twinkle in her eyes, but sighed and said "tired, good night hun." I smiled at her and saw her change into one of my shirts and crawl into the bed. I took off my shirt and jeans and got into the bed beside her. I wrapped my arms around her and heard her breathing even out meaning she was asleep, I fell asleep to the lull of my mates heartbeat.
