~Hope's POV~

I ran out of the house and headed towards the woods, I have always loved the woods, the peacefulness of them and the sounds of the animals in them. Well I guess I know why now, I am guessing it was because of my wolf. I heard a twig snap so I looked behind me to see a man standing there watching me.

'He is one of us' I heard a voice inside my head. I tensed up instantly because of the voice 'who are you?' I asked the voice 'I am your wolf Snow' I heard the wolf say in a soothing voice.

I instantly felt at ease knowing that this was my wolf. 'Why did you just now come out?' I ask 'because you just learned about wolves,therefore you just got me.' Snow said to me. 'Wait so you have to learn about wolves to turn into them?' I ask her I confusion.

'Well werewolves don't but you do.' She said back 'but I thought I was a werewolf?' I ask her, dang this is getting more and more confusing to me.'honey you are not a wolf you are a shapeshifter.' Snow said to me slowly and patiently.

'What is the difference between them' I asked her, dang it sucks being out of the loop. And in your own head, ouch. 'A were can only change into a wolf, while shape shifters can shift into any animal that they had learned about at some point in time, whether it be from watching them, reading about them or anything really.' Snow said to me in a calm voice.

I was astonished, I could turn into anything! 'Only if you learn about it' Snow reminded me. Oh yea.

Hmm....

I heard a throat clear and I looked around. Oh yea that dude was still here and he was looking at me amused but also concerned. 'You okay?" He asked. I nodded and said "Who are you?" He looked at me and says simply "I am drake, I am a wolf in Nate's pack, which makes you my Luna." I Just looked at him and nodded my head. "So what are you doing out her, Luna?" He asked

"Please call me Hope.' I said back he nodded but still called me Luna.

"Okay what are you doing" he asked again. I sighed knowing I wouldn't win this battle. For now anyway.

"Just thinking, listening to nature I suppose" I said back to Drake. He smiled and nodded "mind if I join you?" He asked though I could tell it wasn't really a question.

"You can if you want to." I said back to him.

He sat beside me and says "you know you will be a great Luna."

"You really think so?"

"Yep, I saw what you did back there, you are a good fighter. How many lessons have you had?"

"I have never had a fighting lesson before"

He looks at me in shock but it turns into a dumbfounded look. "What!?!? You never had a lesson and your that good at it! Dang remind me to never get on your bad side." He said to me still with the dumbfounded expression on his face. I smirk and say "noted." What I am just awesome like that.

"Hey I have a question Drake." I said to him "shoot" he Said to me. "Can you explain this all to me, I am still a little confused about all of this. He nodded and started explaining the basics to me.

After a little while I think I finally got it! Well for the most part anyway. I got the basics at least. I looked over to see it was dark. Wow I didn't think we were out here that long. I wonder what time it is. Before I could ask though Drake said

"we should head back before Alpha has my head for keeping you away from him any longer." He said to me. I knew what he meant and to be honest I was kinda missing Nate to.

He made me feel warm and fuzzy inside and ever since the whole Brad thing I only feel safe when I am near him. Like I was comfortable with Drake but not safe i still had my guard up that apparently went down every time I was with Nate alone. Tell him that and you die!!

I nodded my head, silently agreeing with drake and said "lead the way."
