I couldn't remember last night's events, just little pieces here and there. Removing myself from the couch, my knees felt weak while trying to pick myself up.

"Esther?"

Mom stirred on the ground, slowly opening her eyes.

"Yeah?"

" Last night was fun, we should do it again sometime!"

Sure, I don't even remember last night and she wants me to do it again? No way. Going towards the kitchen, I realized it was only 9:00 am. Wait, 9:00 am, I'm late! Incredibly, super late, today's the last day of school, and I needed to be there! I know nobody would be waiting for me but still, they always had this 'End of Skool' party, but I just enjoyed myself in the library, reading books, eating a bag of Doritos, hating my life.

"Mom, I gotta go!"

Quickly running upstairs, I brushed my teeth, my teeth, washed my face, and only managed to throw on a clean shirt when a huge explosion came from downstairs. Running downstairs, only to see my mother cooking porridge, on the stove, in a damn plastic bowl!

" Mom! What the hell?"

She sighed, staring at the melted plastic bowl, poking it with a wooden spoon. Forcing out her bottom lip, she stomped her feet on the ground like a four year old throwing a tantrum.

"Why can't I cook without things exploding in my face?!?"

Not wanting to make the situation worse, I finished getting dressed and ran out the door and down the street. Sweat pouring down my face, I picked up the pace, I've never been late in my life and I certainly wasn't gonna start now, not today. Running across the street to the school, the parking lot was empty, just a few late comers, who were basically rebels with no future in front of them, do not confuse these people with bad boys, bad boys rebel and look good doing it, but these freaks.... let's just leave it at that.

Looking at my watch, it was only minutes to ten, meaning the first session would soon be over. I'm too young to die in this way, I can't die now. Slowly walking to Room 002 ( Biology Class), I took a deep breath and opened the door.

" And that's how single cell organisms- Esther?"

Everyone was now staring at me as I slowly walked to my seat.

" Well, there is only three minutes and thirty-two seconds left in class, so I just hope you enjoy your summer and Ms. Johnson gets to stay here with me in detention."

Who the hell gives detention on the last day of school? Well I guess you can say Mrs. Walters, the biology teacher, but who else does that? This is my first time in detention and she didn't even ask me what happened or if I was okay! I was the only student who actually raises their hand in class and she gives me detention? This she-devil needs to get her priorities straight for once! What about those freaks who get high at the back of the school? How about she watches them instead, then she can kiss my ass!

A sudden bell rang out, indicating the students to leave for their next class. I slumped down in my chair, infuriated.

"Stupid mom, stupid dad, stupid teacher, stupid detention, stupid school!"

" Your voice is not that hidden Ms. Johnson."

Quickly jumping out of my seat, I collected my things and went out the door. Am I the only person who manages to embarrass herself single handedly? Walking towards my locker, all I heard around me were snicker and whispers, and Queen Bee, Francine, standing at my locker with her little entourage.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't little Elsa."

"It's Esther, get it right."

" Don't get angry and smack me with a book."
