My body moved 7 meters to the left with the force of a car on my chest. Memories flash as I fall in and out of consciousness. Well why can't you? She said, you really ought to consider there's a better life than this.
I'm back, town hall is destroyed and I walk out. I don't know what to make of it. I just see houses and buildings ablaze. I walk the length of the city searching for help, I stumble upon Mabel's and North's Old houses.
Ash covered and knee deep in shrapnel a single photo is moved by the wind. Back Together, 2023, written on a photo showing Me, Mabel and North on the day she came out to visit Massachusetts. I don't even shed a tear.
