Three Months Later

Leon S. Kennedy, was on another mission for the President. To find a young little girl that turned out to be the presidents niece, which Leon found it strange that the Presidents family seems to be a target to everything.
The boat ride to the island was pretty far out; Why couldn't they have taken a plan was beyond him. "Reed Island aye? I haven't seen that place in years, but to think someone like yourself wants to go visit it after all the stories about it? You're a crazy man." The one driving the boat tried picking up a conversation with Leon.

Reed Island, it use to be known as a fun get away beach. However, deep within the island, underneath the ground. Was a sick disgusting place where many young girls and women were being tested on. Grett had turned Reed island into a beach get-away resort, to cover up any suspicion's of what he was doing. However, that all failed when something happened to where everyone needed to evacuate or never returned home.
"Not much of a talker are ya?" The boat driver was trying very hard. Leon took a good look at him, seeing an eyepatch covering his left eye.

"I guess you can say that." Leon replied, before looking back in-front of him. He seen an island coming into view, as he prepared himself for whatever he's about to get himself into again.
Just like any other job he's been assigned to, there was never an easy one.

He definitely needed a vacation after this.

••

Three months; though it didn't feel like that unfortunately.
Clementine ran down the same hall, looking for an exit to get to the surface. She's been stuck down here for awhile now, managing to avoid everything that came her way, or taking them head on. Her doe eyes scanned the area, seeing everything just looked the same as before.
A constant loop; The building was designed in a hexagon shape.
"What am I missing?" She mumbled, unsure if there was something being overlooked. But who was she kidding? Clementine has been running around this place, never seeing any changes. Though maybe it was because some of the doors were locked, in need of a special key that sadly she never could come across.

Unless the enemies were carrying it, that would have to be the only other explanation. She glanced around, seeing one of the ex-doctors stumbling around. Clearly he was infected with something. She quickly hid behind a knocked over container, waiting for the right moment she could perform a sneak attack on the infected doctor. Her only self defense weapon was a knife, it seemed more reliable and attracted less attention. Though there was times when she had to book it, if there were a large group of enemies.

Clementine slowly came out from hiding as she quickly covered the infected doctors mouth while stabbing the knife into its neck. Once she pulled out the knife, she watched the doctor fall to the ground. It's body turning into black goo after being killed. Still unsure of why they turned into a goo substance. She knelt down noticing a keycard.
So her suspicion was correct, the infected people down here did carry things. Though why didn't it dissolve into goo like everything else did?

There was no time to think about it, as she stood up and rushed to the elevator that required a key. She wasn't sure what floor level she was on, considering it wasn't labeled by numbers. Instead, each floor was labeled with some sort of image that had a code written within it to tell what the floors are dedicated to.

As Clementine reached the elevator, she compared the key to the door. Making sure it was the right key to access the elevator. "Bingo." She mumbled to herself while inserting the key in, watching the red small light turn green. Her doe eyes watched the tiny screen above, showing what floor the elevator was on. Clementine wasn't sure which floor lead to freedom, but she sadly would have to keep running in circles until she could find a way back to the surface.

Once the elevator reached to the floor she was on, the door opened up. To her surprise, there wasn't any blood on the inside, but this elevator did require a certain key to access it.
Clementine slowly walked into the small space, turning around to face the opening as she glanced to the key pad. Seeing she must of been on the second to last floor. So of course, she decided to pick the third button that was close to the top. Hoping on her first try, she manages to get out of here.

She couldn't handle dealing with more infected people, and only could hope the surface would have someone out there looking for her. Though she doesn't even know who she is, the blonde woman never gave her any information. So Clementine wouldn't even know what to tell anyone who she was, or know who is even looking for her.

Was she ever going to remember anything? She looked through every file down here, and never found anything about any of the people here that were tested on. Clementine was also stuck wearing a pair of maroon scrubs she found in a changing room. Once the elevator stopped to the new floor, Clementine was greeted with a faint smell of outdoor air. At least she hoped it was that.

Slowly stepping out of the Elevator as she glanced around the floor she was on. Part of it was destroyed, and vines growing down the walls as she got startled when she stepped in a puddle of water. Clementine wasn't able to find shoes, so she's been running around bare footed. Her eyes stared at the puddle, a small faint smile appearing as she felt happy she managed to not have to keep guessing what floor to escape to the surface.
Though there was the matter of how to climb up, as it appeared this floor was still somewhat inside the ground.
