The young red head watched out the window as overhead, a hole opens in the sky. Monsters of all different sizes flood out of the spacey looking vortex. Steve looked at Nat worried. "This isn't good", Eleanor screams over the noise. Mackenzie looks down at his sister, then up at the sky.
Natasha starts firing at the Chitauri near the ship. The blast sends the two siblings stumbling in different directions, the force making them lose balance. Clint and the Widow shoot some more aliens, before Loki blasts the ship. This sends Eleanor flying to the back of the ship, where the ramp was. She knew Clint was trying to land the jet smoothly, but he was doing a horrible job.
The ship spun around, for what seemed like forever, before it finally landed. Clint opens the ramp and Eleanor runs out. The destruction had immediately started as soon as the Chitauri came out. She materialized a bow staff, getting ready to fight. The young girl didn't know if she was excited or, nervous. Probably both.
The five of them arrive in the middle of a four way street. Suddenly, the noise of the city goes down, silence ensues. Eleanor looks around, confused. A deep roar sounds from the portal. A huge dinosaur/crocodile looking creature comes out of the portal. "Holy Shit!" The young red head yells.
The Chitauri started firing at innocent people. Eleanor had to duck a few shots herself. "Stark, are you seeing this?" Steve said into the comms.
"I'm seeing, still working on believing. Where's Banner? Has he shown up yet?" Tony responded over back to him. Steve looked around confused. "Banner?" He asked.
Tony sighed. "Just keep me posted." The group runs further into the city. It looks a mess, cars are overturned, there are random fires in the street, and at the center of it all is Loki. He is the reason for all of this. People are running all over the place as the alien soldiers shoot at them. "Those people need assistance down there." Steve said.
The soldiers then begin to fire at them. Nat and Mackenzie start shooting back, while Clint in firing at them. Eleanor switches the bow staff she had originally grabbed for a silver sword with red details on the hilt. She stabbed an alien in the eye. "Gross." She said as the creature dropped dead.
Another Chitauri came barreling towards her and she slit his throat. "We got this. It's good. Go!" Nat said. Cap turned to Clint. "You think you can hold them off?" He asks. Clint switches his arrow. "Captain. It would be my genuine pleasure."
He shoots an arrow into a Chitauri's head and it fires arrows at the aliens surrounding. Cap runs away towards the plaza. "He's so fucking fast." Eleanor mutters, as she guts another alien. Mackenzie comes over next to her. "How are you not a little grossed out?" He asked. He shot another Chitauri that Eleanor was about to kill.
She glared at him. "I have a strong stomach!" She muttered, but he heard. Mackenzie smiled at his younger sister. Clint helps people out of a bus, while Mackenzie, Eleanor, and Nat are covering him. The bus doors finally open, people spilling out. "Just like Budapest all over again!" Nat yells.
Clint looks at her. "You and I remember Budapest very differently." Eleanor jumps on top the fallen bus, fighting the Chitauri who still remained. The alien took hold of her sword as she was holding it, so she kneed it in the chest. It was knocked off the bus and Eleanor jumped down, stabbing it in the chest.
Captain runs back over after instructing the police what to do. Tony and Thor fly back over from wherever they were. Thor channels lightning through his hammer, knocking some soldiers dead. "Thanks!" Eleanor said smiling and holding up her hand for a high five.
Thor looked down at her blood covered hand and high fived it quickly. "What's the story upstairs?" Steve asks.
"The power surrounding the cube is impenetrable." Thor said.
"Thor is right. We gotta deal with these guys." Eleanor heard Tony say over the comms. Another alien approached them, so she stuck her sword in it's chest, before pulling it out and spinning her sword around. "How do we do this?" Nat asked, looking up at everyone.
"As a team." Cap said. Thor turned to him. "I have unfinished business with Loki." He said. Clint scoffed, while sharpening his arrows. "Yeah, get in line." Eleanor rolled her eyes. Men and their egos.
"Save it. Loki's gonna keep this fight focused on us and that's what we need. Without him these things could run wild. We got Stark up top, he's gonna need us..." Steve trails off. Just then, Bruce arrived on a small motorcycle. It sounded like it was almost out of charge too. He hopped off and Eleanor took a look at him.
His clothes were battered and torn, and he had dirt all over him. "So, this all seems horrible." He said. Eleanor looked at him, her eyes stone cold. "I've seen worse." She said, referring to the attack on the Helicarrier. Banner looked at her sheepishly. "Sorry."
Nat cut the young girl off before she could say anything else. "No. We could use a little worse." She said. Steve had a very small smile on his face, small, but still there. "Stark? We got him. Just like you said." He said.
"Then tell him to suit up. I'm bringing the party to you." Tony said. He picked up speed, flying towards the group. A huge dinosaur monster came barreling around the corner. Mackenzie's eyes widened, while Eleanor smiled in excitement.
"I... I don't see how that's a party..." Mackenzie said. The monster barreled down the street like a freight train, destroying everything in it's path. Bruce looks behind him. "Dr. Banner. Now might be a really good time for you to get angry." Steve said, looking behind Bruce towards the monster.
Bruce laughs. "That's my secret, Captain. I'm always angry." His body swells, ripping his clothes and turning him green. Eleanor looked at him with wide eyes, her mouth hanging open. He was cool! He jumps onto the monster's nose, pulling him down to the ground. Tony fires his rockets at its soft spot and the monster slowly sizzled away.
Captain held his shield up to block any remaining fire or meat pieces that may be coming their way. Mackenzie grimaces. Eleanor looked up to see more of the monster Bruce just killed coming out of the portal. "Holy shit." She said, looking bewildered. Nat looked up as well. "Guys?"
The rest of the group looks up to see Chitauri soldiers everywhere. "Call it, Cap." Tony said.
"Alright, listen up. Until we can close that portal up there, we're gonna use containment. Barton, I want you on that roof, eyes on everything. Call out patterns and strays. Stark, you got the perimeter. Anything gets more than three blocks out, you turn it back or your turn it to ash." Steve instructed.
Barton turned to Tony. "Wanna give me a lift?" He asked. Tony grabbed hold of his shirt. "Right. Better clench up, Legolas." He joked. The two flew up into the air together. Eleanor laughed at Tony's joke.
"Thor, you've gotta try and bottleneck that portal. Slow them down. You've got the lightning. Light the bastards up." Steve said. Thor flew away, swinging his hammer around. "Eleanor, I heard you have a flying device stored somewhere in wherever you get your weapons?" Steve asked. She nodded excitedly.
"Good. I want you to fly around the city and get the aliens in the air." Steve said. Eleanor nodded and gave them a salute before walking to a place with minimal civilians. She generated her flying shield and jumped from a car to on top of the flying device.
She willed the shield to move and it zoomed down the street. She thought it was convenient that one of the people she stole from had this is their house. Eleanor saw some Chitauri soldiers riding on what looked like... floating bikes?
The young red head decided she was too tired to care and barreled towards them with her sword. She managed to hit 4 in row, in the chest on her first attack. "Boom bitches", she yelled in celebration.
Another Chitauri screeched and tried to attack her. She flipped off the shield and cut him down. She had adrenaline running through her veins as she fought. Eleanor was breathing heavily; she had just killed around 15 soldiers.
