Chapter 1
Sometimes dreams are illusions, expectations, fears or wishes we have. At times we think they are the truth or just an impossible reality. Dreams are given to those who believe in possibilities and for those who accept life or part of it. Many dreams show us with our desires and other paths we can make or take through our life. It has been said many times dreams come true, that’s Disneyland slogan, but is it actually true? Is it really a choice or do they guide us? Do we make our own decisions, choices or do they corrupt our soul and beg for what they want and believe.
Many people have dreams, but not all of them remember them or even care about it. Dreams are the show and tell of the multiple choices we have to make through our life. Do we make the choice, do we decide or the environment captivates our senses. I have had for a very long time dreams like many people, but mine actually come true in the different ways of wickedness of my life. Most of them are of the people I most care about or the people that have had an impact in that day. Some of those dreams are good, silly, scary or creepy, but I have learned to never keep them from happening. That’s the part I don’t want to do, I just want to believe I can make a change of them and make a difference, but every time I try, something goes wrong. I am sorry to tell, but not always we have a happily-ever-after.
The only thing dreams can’t show is our heart, beliefs and our feelings, in that aspect we can still control them. Maybe dreams do come true, but the question is how and why?
Finally I finished my stupid essay for English Literature; I don’t have an idea of why I am the only one that has that subject but, well. All my classmates have interesting stuff like snorkeling in a sea of monsters or how would it be to kiss Hitler, but Mr. Ralph always gives me the difficult stuff or the lame stuff and yes that’s the sort of project we are given at my school. Mr. Ralph has been sort of creepy, funny acting and I have caught him stalking me, like looking at me when I am in lunch. The guy is seriously freaking me out; if I don’t do something soon I may go haywire. The weirdest thing about him is that I have tried to sneak-peek his future or read his mind and it’s impossible.
I can always read or see people’s future by reaching with my mind or touching the person, but Mr. Ralph is like an object, absolutely nothing. But lately I have tried to sneak-peek my best friend Ella and the stuff I hear gets fuzzier and the things I see seem to be fading, like my abilities are dying very slowly through the semester. I know for a fact is impossible to see people’s future or read minds, but I can do it, apparently I am some sort of mutant because I don’t know anyone else who can do that. Not that many people would go around bragging about it, but there isn't any scientific proof of my ability being possible. Maybe I am like the mutants in X- MEN, but hey I haven't been recruited yet so well.
I usually sneak-peek the future (as I call it) by thinking of that person before sleeping or in the instant that I became curious of something a friend is telling me, because I have learn and have this tendency to not trust anyone. I tend to not trust anyone because well, that’s what my life so far has taught me, thetiniest hint of trust you give to someone the worse you are deceived, the people that I truly have given too much of myself I end up hurt, so I learned to not give any trust at all, sadly.
Usually the stuff I see is just stupid, ridiculous or R-rated; being in LISCO High is well you get it. I have been in this school for a year now and it’s really a great school, but you can find the nerd guys to the high guys, the same with girls.
