Chapter 4:
“Who are the Fallen Ones and what do they want” I asked trying to control my emotions and my temper. I really didn't know why because well I was the one with the lesser info here.
I wasn’t the type of person who could control my stress under this inhuman like situation. Brad didn’t look like the type of person who would lose his temper, but he looked grayish.
“Look Victoria, the Fallen Ones are the angels that God condemned out of heaven for their anti-angelic behavior, they have been trying to seek revenge around 500 years ago (probably more it's undetermined) in the gifted ones, who are the humans like you, people God chose and gifted them with a special power from a being that is a member of the Celestial Court. I don’t know what they want, but there aren’t many like you and they most know what your gift is already, they want to use you against God I guess”
The pieces of the puzzle began to shape out clearly to me, Mr. Ralph and the topic for my essay, the way he looked at my, the things he said about how she was a being of such beauty and power, but not for more longer. I couldn’t get the story of from my lips and she bitted her lower lip so hard blood began to trickle down her chin.
Brad must have heard her thoughts, it was his ability, his power, but he didn’t seem to hear me.
“Brad, did you hear what I just thought? I thought what they wanted from me.” I knew the answer to my question before he even told it to me
“No you haven’t thought of anything” he said like he thought I was teasing him.
I hate when people don’t believe what I say “If you can usually hear thoughts, without touching me how can you say I haven’t thought of anything in the last three minutes” Brad appeared to be considering this new point of view, he began to scan the perimeter with his beautiful green eyes.
He could have been a supermodel for all she knew, but it was even better he was a gorgeous angel. He stopped to look at her from head to toe, and then he stopped at her wrist.
“They are tracking you, look at your hand. The Fallen Ones never give you a choice, either choice you take they always get what they want, it’s not the first time they have done this” I looked at my arm it was turning purple at my wrist with a tiny red circle at the center. I couldn’t understand why I was so valuable, or why I was in this danger.
“The Royal Board must have known something I don’t understand why they didn’t send me sooner, I just can’t” Brad even though she could sense his frustration he didn’t show it in his voice, facial emotions or attitude, his voice was so pleasant, paused and calm you could be hearing the worlds end and you wouldn’t care.
Maybe I was hearing the end of my world I became aware that I was slipping away. Going into my dreams, fantasy, but my mind, my body wasn’t in my control anymore. I could feel my legs and arms like jelly and stones. I had the sense I was still in the beach with Brad, but not in control of myself anymore. I felt my arms give out from where I had them in the sand and then I fell “asleep” like a baby.
