She's Pretty

"What are we doing here, Tony?" Clint asked annoyed. The whole team was in the meeting room after Tony called them up. They were all sat around a long table with Stark at the end near a screen.

"Shhh. I'm getting there, Barton. Friday, pull up the information about the criminal." Tony ordered. In a second there was a picture of Katherine in a cell sitting down, drinking coffee and reading a book. She looked a little younger in the photo.

"It's the witch!" Thor shouted. His brother, Loki, had to calm the God of Thunder down. Ever since their last interaction with the girl, Thor was upset she got in his head.

"Calm down, point-break, this picture is from two years ago when she was in supernatural prison. The only information we know is her name is Katherine and she's an enhanced." Tony explained.

"She's pretty." Wanda commented.

"She's a killer who murdered 100 guards after three months in prison. After her escape it was like she fell off the face of the Earth. No footage of the girl anywhere until a month ago when we saw her at the compound in Russia." Stark said.

Everyone looked at one another shocked that the girl on the screen was capable of such a horrible thing. The team heard how Shield had been after her for years.

"So this pretty girl took three men from our team down. Sounds like my sister when she got into your minds the first time we met." Pietro laughed.

"Pietro, stop." Wanda nudged her brother. "So the girl, Katherine, has powers similar to mine?"

"Yes, but from what we've seen she has more." Tony said.

"Well, isn't that terrific." Clint sarcastically said.

Tony had Friday explain her powers to the group. Teleportation, illusions, super speed, super strength, and powers like Wanda. The team knew it was going to be very difficult catching the girl.

"So what was she doing at the compound anyway? You still haven't told us why she's a criminal." Sam said.

"Other than how she escaped prison, she's hacked into my system more times than I can count." Tony grumbled. He couldn't understand how she could hack into his work. He would never admit it but it wounded his ego.

"Heh, seems like your ego's bruised a bit, Tony." Clint teased. A few of them snickered while the rest tried to keep a straight face. Even serious Steve had a hard time keeping it together.

"Yeah yeah, very funny. Let's get back to the point, shall we? I've had Friday try and track down her whereabouts and after a month...I finally got her. It seems she's been hanging around Queens lately." Tony stated.

"Queens? What would she be doing there?" Steve asked.

"I don't know that, yet. But doesn't matter because tomorrow we're ALL going to go to Queens and be on stand by until Friday gives us a specific location." The genius ordered.

"Tony, you can't be serious. You want us all to be there just waiting for her to pop up somewhere?" Natasha complained.

"Yes, Nat—we are all gonna be there and I don't want any complaints. This is the closest we've ever gotten to catching her and I'm not throwing away this chance at arresting that psycho." Tony exaggerated.

"I for one would love to meet the lady who got into my brother's head." Loki smirked, which caused Thor to roll his eyes.

"Do you really think ALL of us being there is necessary, Tony?" Bruce asked. He didn't really think they needed the whole team to take her down. Truthfully, he just didn't want to go.

"Yes, Bruce, everyone is going. Now, get a good nights rest because we are gonna be there all day tomorrow. Meeting adjourned." And with that Tony left the team to all complain about tomorrow's mission.
