chapter 4-family matters

wedensday had told y/n that she thought she was pregnant 

y/n: okay uh did you take a test?"

wednesday nodded her head and handed the pregnancy testing stick and it showed positive 

y/n: i dont know what to say"

wednesday: neither do i"

the pair sat awkwardly not muttering a single word or sound but after a few seconds y/n spoke up

y/n: well...we have been talking about kids for a while so maybe it's not so bad"

wednesday: maybe"

y/n interlaced her hand in his 

y/n: whatever it is we can handle it, you can handle it"

wednesday smiled at her husband 

wednesday: thank you"

y/n leaned in and kissed her forehead 

y/n: anytime, i love you"

wednesday: i love you too y/n"

the doorbell then rang 

y/n; are you expecting anyone?"

wednesday: no"

y/n got up and drew his colt and walked to the door, he looked through the window and saw enid and ajax, y/n holstered the firearm and opened the door, as he did enid lunged into his arms and hugged him

y/n: good to see you too enid"

enid then pulled away and smiled widely 

enid: wheres wednesday?"

y/n: living room"

she then walked away leaving y/n and ajax 

y/n; what's up brother"

the two then did a bro hug 

ajax: nothing much man"

y/n: i miss those days, lets go inside"

the two then joined wednesday and enid in the living room, they then sat down next to their partners 

enid: so what did you end up doing after nevermore y/n?"

y/n: started my own private military"

ajax: what do you all do?"

y/n: protection details, government contracts. stuff like that, what about you two?"

enid: well i'm a stay at home mom or foster parent and ajax owns his own shop"

y/n: pot shop?"

ajax: how did you know?"

y/n: dont make me answer that ajax"

ajax: no worries"

enid: anyways, wednesday, how long have you been pregnant?"

y/n's and wednesday were taken aback not knowing how enid knew 

enid: pregnant people give off a different scent then others, theres also a test on the coffee table"

wednesday: a few weeks as far as i know"

enid: you have nothing to worry about, kids are the best"

ajax (mumbling): bullshit"

enid slapped his shoulder and pinched his side 

y/n: you earned that one ajax. pro tip; your wife is always right. even if shes wrong shes right"
