AFTER NEVERMORE (wednesday addamns x male reader)

chapter 7- war on monster and human

y/n had just spoken to the governor and activated the PA system and started to speak 

y/n: the following regiment commanders are to report to the deployment platform asap; thirty second infantry, fifty fifth armored , twenty second airborne and tenth recon"

y/n shut off the intercom and started to walk out when wednesday stopped him 

wednesday: What's happening?"

y/n: war"

y/n then walked out 

*scene change- deployment platform*

six commanders were lined up in a meeting room 

y/n: listen up, one of our longtime enemies known as the coyote company has taken a town and is using a new monster to fight us, the national guard failed to beat them so its our job to repel them from the area, with that in mind our first objective is to establish an FOB from there we will press an attack, the best location is at the center of town so once its secure reinforcements will be able to land safely, your men will be linking up with colonel banning, get going"

with that the commanders walked out and started directing troops, after half an hour several chinooks, stallions and even c17s took off and started heading towards the town in montana 

y/n sighed as he watched as his men left, he sat down and called mike, after a few rings he answered at least so y/n thought 

???: y/n l/n...founder and owner of first defense private military company, i have your men...and arent you wondering where your wife is?"

y/n: if you kill any of them i promise i will kill you myself"

???: i have demands mister y/n...i will allow your men to land but if they so much as enter this town i will have colonel banning killed and then your wife"

the man then hung up, y/n slammed his fists down on the table, he then called for his guards and they entered the room 

y/n: where the hell is my wife?!"

the two looked at each other before drawing the weapons, y/n however had the faster hand and managed to shoot them both in the head, after a few seconds more guards came in 

guard: you good sir?"

y/n: no. im pissed off"

y/n holstered his 1911 and grabbed his phone and called general briggs 

briggs: what?"

y/n: i need you to authorize a delta force and react team"

briggs: why?"

y/n: that son of a bitch leader of the coyote company took my men and wife!"

briggs: understood, delta and react teams will touchdown on the rig in four hours"

y/n: good"

y/n then hung up and walked to the armory, once inside he put on his tactical gear and loaded his weapons

*timeskip-five hours* 

y/n and the delta and react team were currently heading for the CC compound once they were close the teams repeled down to the ground, once ready they slowly made their way to the compound 

  AN: CC means coyote company 

*y/n's pov*

we get to a window and scan the hallway, once we see its clear we each climb through and continue to walk through and clear the compound, this compound clearly wasnt the base of operations due to the lack of guards but was the only place where keeping hostages was tactical

delta 1: first floor clear, moving to second"

we then slowly and carefully walked up the staircase, we then came across yet another hallway but as we open a door we are spotted by three CC soliders, all of us shoot them on sight

delta 1: ok were still good"

i search the bodies and find intel on where the hostages are being held, the library 

y/n: hostages are in the library. third floor"

delta 1: you heard the man, lets get going"

*small timeskip*

after clearing the second floor we continue our search of the third floor, but one of the react team members was shot in the head, i turn to see a team of CCs taking cover as we return fire, i pull out a stun grenade and throw it behind the cover, once it went off they crawled out of cover, the deltas walk over to then, secured them and knocked them out, but we have been made so we go loud, after five minutes of being shot at and shooting back we enter the library and see the hostages but they have suicide vests with timers on, and they were slowly ticking down 

me: they have bombs rigged to them"

the react 'agents' start to defuse them as i look for mike and wednesday, i find mike but no wednesday

me: wheres wednesday?"

mike; they took her to the roof"

i start to run to the roof despite the deltas yelling at me to wait, i shoot any armed person as i run through the compound but once i get to the roof i see a man getting on a helicopter with wednesday in hand, a raise my rifle and shoot the helicopter pilot and the man holding wednesday, but she was in the helicopter by them and thanks to me shooting the pilot he went limp and caused the helicopter to start to fall of the building. wednesday gets up and jumps as it falls off the roof, right as she falls out of sight i dive to the edge and managed to catch her 

me: i got you weds...i got you"

i then pulled her onto the roof with me and embraced her 

me: i fucking hate this shit"

wednesday: i love it...he was lucky he found me when i escaped"

me:  can you feel the baby?"

wednesday laughed as she placed her hand on her baby bump

wednesday: the baby is happy right now"

i place my hand on the bump and also feel the kicking 

me: thank god you both are okay"

we both got up as the deltas got to the roof

delta 1: compound is clear"

i nod at them and grab my radio and press down on the mic

me: <all units move in, hostages and compounds are secure...i also need a chopper>

*end of pov/ two days later*

y/n was in his office reading a report on the battle with the CC when mike and wednesday walked in 

mike: boss, i have to talk to you"

y/n turned the computer off and looked at mike 

y/n: shoot"

mike: after those two moles took us it made me start thinking"

mike then set a file on y/n's desk titled 'onyx unit'

mike: i made a secret unit that will consist of people loyal to you and you alone, they'll be hand selected by you and go through rigorous training and testing"

y/n; thank you mike, theres no one on this rig or any other outpost i trust more then you. so i want you to be the first member of this unit"

mike: thank you...i also have a special armor designed"

AN: another chapter down, cringing at this one too but whatever, this one will be harder to understand considering i suck at painting pictures during first POVs but then again i suck at that in general, this chapter also sparks the start of more metal gear solid appearances
