Chapter 17: Living w/ Orochimaru- Part 2

Niki's POV

"If you needed help finding him, you could've asked me." Kabuto addressed."How am I supposed to ask you for help if I can't find you either?" I ask, giving him a your-a-dumbass look.
I look back at the bloody body.

"What happened?" Kabuto walks up to the body."I injected him with something, but it didn't go well as you can see." He says while pushing up his classes.

What did he inject him with? But most importantly, why did they do that to the guy?

I leave the room. Why should I care? He's already dead anyway.

Next Day

"I have a mission for you 2." My dad exclaimed."Your mission will be to go the land of waves. While you're over there, you need to find this guy." Orochimaru holds up a picture of a teenaged boy with purple hair and purple eyes.

Me and Sasuke leave to go to the land of waves. I smile at Sasuke.
He looks at me confused."What are you smiling about?"

"Going back to the land of waves brings back a lot of memories." I chirp. But at the same time I hate those memories. I don't want to remember the times I spent with Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi.

Sasuke and I head to the land of waves on foot. We haven't even been running for 20 minutes and I don't feel like running anymore. I'm too lazy.

"Sasuke, I know a shortcut."
The Uchiha stops running and looks at me."Let's go." He tells me. I put one hand on his shoulder and concentrate.

Poof!

We're on the bridge thy leads to the village. After a few minutes of walking, we finally make it to the end of the bridge."Now all we have to do is find the guy with the purple hair." Sasuke informs me.

"Let's split up. We'll meet back here in a half hour." I say to him. He nods and starts his searching. I do the same.
'Um, Niki...'
I roll my eyes.'Not now Anon. I'm trying to find someone.'

I continue to look for the guy.
'But it's really important.' She adds.'Tell me later.' The tone in my voice changes from annoyed to super annoyed.

This is pointless. I can't find this guy anywhere. I guess I'll have to do plan B.

I run through the streets. Then stop in front of a random person."Excuse me, have you seen this person. I really need to talk to him." I hold up the picture.

The person nods."Go down the street and make a left into a restaurant."

"Thanks." I go down the street to the restaurant. My eyes search the restaurant. Then I finally spot him.

The purple haired guy is sitting by himself. I go over to his table and sit down.

He looks up from his food."Who are you?" The guy asks."I'm Lena Mani. What's your name?" I question. He looks at me suspiciously."Kevin Mako."
My eyes widen. M-Mako?

"I lied." I mutter."What?" Kevin moves closer to hear."I lied. My name is not Lena Mani. I'm Niki Mako." I confess.

Kevin jumps out of his seat."What?!"
I nod."I don't believe you. You can't be her. If you are Niki Mako, prove it."

I sigh and pull out my necklace. Hopefully that'll work. Usually does.
"You..are her." He bows."Why are you bowing?"

"Your the lost princess."
The lost PRINCESS?!?!
Dad never told me that. Then again, he probably didn't know either. I don't wanna be a princess. Stupid dresses, stupid high heels, stupid makeup, stupid manners. Fuck that shit!
