Hidan sighed as he arrived at the Hidden Rain, looking up into the downpour of the place he was supposed to call his working home. With a flat expression, he walked in, annoyed when it ruined his hair. “Stupid fucking rainstorms… I spent a lot of work on my hair this morning…” he grumbled, continuing to walk towards the tallest tower.

When he got there, he was greeted by a tall man who stayed all covered up, the figure crossing his arms. With a decidedly unimpressed look in his strange eyes, the man said, in a gravelly voice, “So… you’re the idiot they decided to pair me with this time? Tch. Annoying.”

“Kakuzu! I would control yourself… this is your child’s brother!” Yahiko yelled at him. Sakuya just looked offended at Yahiko for calling her a child. She looked so pissed and was ‘bout to say something when Kuzu spoke for her.

“... Yahiko-san… she’s not my child…” Kakuzu said slowly, raising an eyebrow. “... That’s my Kaa-san. And- wait, this idiot is my Uncle?”

“Wait, this creepy guy is supposed to be my nephew or something?!?!” Hidan demanded, pointing at Kakuzu while in a half-crouched position, and then yelped when he was picked up by his hair. “OI!!! LET ME FUCKING-” However, before he could finish his sentence, he was slapped by his sister.

“Kakuzu let my youngest sibling down. Hidan in case you didn’t notice… that there are two three year olds behind Kakuzu. Dio… Jojo… don’t you have any respect for children. I would hate to see you have a kid!”

“Nope, no kids,” Hidan said, shrugging. The only one who noticed anything was odd was Kakuzu, and he nudged his Kaa-san.

“Well then, come on inside, and don’t you dare touch any of my kids,” the older man growled, turning and walking inside… only to promptly be swarmed by children. He just kept walking while covered in small people, and he picked up the two boys in his arms. “It’s going to be alright, you two… Hidan, this little one, Jojo, is injured, so don’t you dare even come close to him.”

“Hey, what’s with the riot act?!”

“If you come near him, count yourself lucky if I’m the one killing you. Because if I don’t, his brother will.”

“WHAT.”

Dio just glared at Hidan over Kakuzu’s shoulder, a small knife in his hand, and the look being one that a child killer would have, right before the knife was embedded in a vital point in Hidan’s stomach. Then, the child promptly hid when he realized Hidan hadn’t dropped dead.

“OW WHAT THE F-”

Kakuzu slapped a hand over his mouth before he could finish the swear word, one eyebrow raised as he noticed that the albino wasn’t dead yet. “... Why are all the albinos I know almost impossible to kill…? Oh, right, you’re my Kaa-San’s brother… Honestly, it took an entire small army to kill the last albino I knew…” Looking over at Dio, he lightly scolded, “You don’t just go killing people right after Tou-San threatens them. The threat is there for a reason, and you don’t need to be the main protector now.”

“‘Cause you’re here?”

“Yes, because I’m here.”

“... Okay, that’s too fucking cute,” Hidan said, and then yelped when he got hit over the head by Kakuzu. “OW WHAT THE- HEY!!” he was interrupted again by another bonk. “WILL YOU STOP F- HEY!!” Another whack.

“Stop cursing and I’ll stop hitting you.”

“NOT FAIR YOU F- OWWWWW”

“Huh? Hi, I’m Tobi!!” another man said in a childish voice as he popped up.
