Chapter Three

A red headed girl with a mist headband came in with her partner. "Listen… I am only here to find my old partner, Kisame. Not Mist business." 

The group looked over, raising their eyebrows as they saw her. Then, Kisame stepped forward and asked, “Is that you, Megumi?”

"Kisame! I can't believe it. Look, you need to come back. The rebellion needs you. Please. I'm trying to find the swordsmen of the Mist as a result." Megumi looked at him with soft eyes.

He thought about this, and then looked over at Pein. “Sir… May I have permission to do this? I could also help find my brother…”

Pein thought about this, and then nodded in approval. “Usurping the current Mizukage would take a step towards peace for everyone. You may go… last we heard from Kakuzu’s network, Zabuza Momochi was near the Land of Waves.”

“Thank you,” the shark man said, going over to Megumi.

Megumi ran towards the rebellion base. Smiling as she took his hand.

Kisame also smiled, and first led her to where he could sense his brother in the distance with Samehada’s help, and said, “Might as well collect Zabuza on the way, eh?”

"They need all seven. It's pretty bad."

He nodded, and then noticed they were approaching a half-finished bridge. “… There’s a fight going on. We should stop it.”

Megumi ran and jumped onto the bridge. Putting her swords together to make the lightning cross attack.

Kisame had also jumped up, and kicked Kakashi away from where he was about to Chidori both Haku and Zabuza. His younger brother stared at him in abject shock, not having seen him in years.

“Huh?!?! What’s happening?!” A boy’s voice shouted from the mist.

"Sorry Copynin. The swordsmen of Mist are needed for the rebellion. Can't afford to lose the executioner blade wielder." Megumi said as her swords blocked Kakashi's attack.

“Rebellion? It’s finally happening?” Zabuza asked in shock, eyes wide.

“Yep. We came to collect ya… but it looks like we’ve got some rats to deal with,” Kisame said, turning towards where the group of ronin had appeared with Gato. With a grin, he said, “Hey, Megumi… I’ll take care of the short stack… Kakuzu’s been looking for his head because of a bounty.”

"This place is Sakuya's birth home. Unfortunately… we don't have time for Gato. We got to go now! Kakashi… deal with him."

Kakashi nodded, darting forward and taking out Gato while Kisame picked up both Zabuza and Haku, as well as the blade, and vanished in a swirl of water.

Megumi vanished as well.

In the Grass, Ayra was having to deal with the leader of the Mist rebellion and feeding her baby. "Explain this again."

Mei stood there, and she nodded. “With the early death of our Jinchuriki, I’m being forced to bring in the Swordsmen, or at least as many of them as I can find. Yagura-Kun held Isobu, but now we don’t know where the three tails is… so we must rely purely on ninja arts. If we can gather most of the Swordsmen, we have a higher chance of taking down the current Mizukage…”

Ayra sighed and looked at Mei. "Have you contacted Date about Isobu?"

“I have tried, but it’s hard to get a messenger over there…” Mei sighed, slowly shaking her head. “I’m very worried about him after Yagura’s dxeath… he was so young…”

"I will be fine. This the second time Isobu had a death of their host. Though he's taking it hard with Yagura's death." Date said.

Ayra looked frazzled. She needed Hidan's help. Megumi came over to Mei. "We're here."
