Today Dr. Tall was clean up our songs we were going to perform. I tried staying clear of Piper although that was hard as she was in front of me.

We still had our stupid nametags that Dr. Tall used to congratulate them. Natalie was one of the people he congratulated on her solos. Another was Cedric, or to Dr. Tall, Cee-dric.

Dr. Tall used time well and today I was more focused than every. Our first break had already came. Instead of going to Lucinda, I walked over to Natalie.

"How are you doing with the music?" Natalie asked me.

"It's actually easy. I expected to be hard."

Brigid came over with our flute player Jheyda. "How are y'all neighbors?" Jheyda asked. "Mine keeps stabbing her flute in my leg and getting spit on me."

The rest of agreed our neighbors were fine and I ran off to see how Lucinda was doing.

Lucinda had actually made friends while being her alone, albeit, they were the people she sat next to.

At the next break, Dr. Tall wanted us to go outside and breath in fresh air. I could tell he was nervous about tonight.

I followed Brigid, Jheyda , and Natalie. It was hard to see outside due to the sun and the only way to not be blinded by the light was to look at Piper our squint my eyes. I chose the latter option.

Before anyone noticed it was lunch time. I spent my time with Natalie for the most part and I  kept watching as Mr. Bailey ate. Brigid did too like last time. I spotted her again and this time I smiled. She did too.

I saw at end of my sight Piper looking at me then quickly back at her food. I went to talk to Brigid and Jheyda.

"Is his name pronounce Cee-dric or Cedric." Brigid said to Jheyda.

"Dr. Tall keeps calling him Cee-dric and I don't think that's right."

"Good talk." I said to butt me into the conversation.

Brigid and Jheyda both turned, but Brigid's eye went past me. Her eyes now looked a flirtaious  white than silver.

"What are you looking at?" I asked her.

"Cedric." She said, making the 'e' sound longer.

I watched her white eyes while they were past me. It wasn't Jake she was after. It was Cee-dric, yes with two e's and a hyphen.
