Mikes pov - homophobia, smoking

When will and Mike got back, his parents stared at him.

"So Mike, something you need to tell us?" Ted said, which made mikes head raise up from his plate.

"Hm?" Mike Said, his mouth full.

"We need to talk after dinner." He said, giving Karen a look.

Mike placed his fork down, and started to fidget with his hands.

What could his dad possibly want to talk about, he knew it wasn't good.

That must have meant.

Mike sunk down In his seat, nervously glancing at his hands.

Will placed a hand on mikes bouncing knee, and shot him a concerned look.

Mike placed his hand ontop of wills, and shot him a sad smile.

Will took another glance at him, before removing his hand.

Mike dreaded the next conversation.

——————-

"Goodbye guys! Thanks for coming!" Karen said, saying goodbye to the girls.

An idea suddenly popped in mikes brain.

"Hey, can will say the night?" Mike asked his mom.

She stared at them for a second, before nodding and smiling.

Mike quickly grabbed wills arm, and dragged him to his room.

"Mike? You stayed the night yesterday and the day before, and now you want me over?" Will said.

"I just miss you, that's all." Mike said.

"Is something going on?" Will asked.

"What? No! Everyone is fine." Mike freaked, making will even more confused.

"Mike, I know you. I can tell when your anxiety is getting high." Will said, grabbing mikes hand.

At that moment he had realized what he had been doing.

Mike had been running from house to house, trying to Avoid his parents.

He was scared they would figure out the truth.

Mikes bottom lip slightly trembled, as tears came to his eyes.

"I'm sorry." He said, his voice wobbly.

"It's okay, it's fine. Just tell me what's going on." Will said, grabbing onto mikes wrists.

Mike broke into a sob, collapsing into wills arms.

Will caught him, holding onto him tightly.

"I'm sorry." Mike said again, slightly starting to tremble.

"Don't apologize, it's okay." Will said, bringing Mike over to his bed.
