It was a peaceful and sunny day in Konoha.Naruto was walking towards the hospital;reviving the glares and mutters that usually aroused whenver he would step foot outside .He intended to ask Kakashi for help during training for the Chunin exams.
As he was nearing the hospital he could make out Kakashi's masked figure leaning on a wall near the reception. He ran towards the taller man, excitement radiating trough every fibre of his being.
"KAKASHIIIII" he was met with hateful glares from the hospital staff as he was disturbing their peaceful day. The silver headed man noticed the abuse Naruto was going trough but didn't pay it much mind; as he felt Naruto was in part guilty of taking the life of his late sensei."Maa,Maa Naruto" He sighed "you should try being a little quieter next time".
"Can you train me for the chunin exams please?"
"I'll be a bit busy so I'll have to decline, I've got Ebisu here to train you.Im sure he can help you with chakra control"
"But sensei" Naruto whined "how is chakra control gonna help me against neji? He is a Hyuga he will just junken me into tomorrow"
"I'm sure you can find some other senseis who are willing to help you."He tapped his foot irritably. "I don't have much hope of you beating neji anyways, after all your just the dead last" he muttered by Naruto still heard.
Naruto felt betrayed and decided to dig further to find out what his supposed "sensei" was so busy with. "What do you have to do anyway, you don't have friends. Teaching the last uchiha I presume?"
"Sasuke needs the training more than you Naruto, and I actually have hope for him"
Naruto couldn't bear the words the Hatake was spouting and turned around and promptly left.
'I'll show him I can manage by myself just fine and beat that arrogant smirk off Sasuke"s face"
What Kakashi hadn't realized was his words were gonna be his downfall.
