Solen's Celebrities

"You can use this room."
Elizabeth showed the clean guest room and said lightly. Kiern silently scanned the small room.
In the neatly organized room, there were clear signs that someone had often stayed there. He looked at the books on the desk and said.
"Whose room was it?"
“This room was used as a guest room. I stayed every time my friend came, but… … Is it inconvenient because someone else's room was occupied?
"No, instead of that."
The problem was that the author of that friend was Theo Cavill.
Kiern's mouth twitched to the side without her knowing. I wanted to throw all the furniture and things in the room, but I stopped myself.
Now this room was his room. I will never let Theo Cavill set foot here again.
Kiern kept her expression on her back and turned her body, leaning against the desk and standing at an angle. he said with a charming smile.
"I like it. Thank you for giving me such a nice room, ma'am.
"I'm glad you like it."
A breeze blew through the windows that were left open for ventilation. The billowing white curtains made her nervous.
"Wait."
Elizabeth was about to go to the window and tie the curtains. Kiern grabbed her wrist in surprise.
A large hand gently wrapped around her slender wrist. Elizabeth was startled by the sudden touch and turned her head away.
She was much closer to him than she thought. It had been leaning against his desk until recently, but I don't know how it got here.
The blue eyes shone like a mist. Like I'm embarrassed by my actions.
"Mr. Keanes?"
"Oh."
Kiern quickly released her wrist with a slight give. Belatedly, Elizabeth's fingertips pointed toward the curtains and she bit her lower lip.
For a moment I thought he was about to jump out the window. No wonder she hated being in the same room with him.
Entangled in the past, he became sensitive to insignificant things, like a two-headed man.
Kiern stepped back and opened the distance. I just squeezed my wrist, but couldn't come to my senses as if the blood in my whole body was boiling. It was literally a jerk free reaction.
'I'm going crazy.'
Kiern tried to ignore the pounding and pounding of her heart. He opened his mouth as if to make an excuse.
"You can leave him alone."
"Oh, is that so?"
"Yeah."
Elizabeth released the curtains and the white curtains began to billow in the wind again. Thanks to that, Elizabeth repeatedly covered it with a curtain and then displayed it.
Kiern stared at him. Everything was like a dream. She was afraid that the curtain would rise and she too would disappear.
Elizabeth begged to abandon herself and finally threw herself into the sea.
A fool who realized how much her existence meant to me only after I lost her.
This time never.
Kiern clenched her fists. The fact that we meet again in a distant country with a person who we thought was dead and gone forever could be due to some attraction pulling each other.
Elizabeth looked at the man who was staring at her. Her blond hair, shining in the sunlight, was as beautiful as a marigold.
Elizabeth involuntarily toyed with her doll. The blue eyes that held me and trembled with anxiety somehow drew my heart.
'Is there even a story?'
It was too private to ask, so Elizabeth did her best to ignore his reaction.
And even if it was for a moment, the touch wasn't too bad. That was a bit difficult, so Elizabeth stepped back and said.
"Then take good care of me, Mr. Keanes."
That way, Rose's little mansion on the hill has a new family. No one knew what kind of trouble it would cause.

* * *

Solen showed great interest in the newly emerged young man. At first they thought that the father of the dead boy had returned, but when they heard that he was the guardian of Eden, they were all excited.
He was a rare handsome man in this small town. He was a mysterious man who did not know his birthplace or past, but his face was enough to touch the hearts of many women in Solen.
In particular, Jane, known for her beauty in Solen, fell in love with Kianes at first sight.
So was Jane's mother, Lila. She purposely visited Elizabeth, who had come down to the village, and even begged her.
"How can it not be?"
"Sorry Mrs".
Elizabeth smiled awkwardly, always making the same denial. Recently, the number of people who have come to her asking to connect with Keanes has increased dramatically.
The problem was that Keanes scrapped the proposal in one fell swoop. Elizabeth remembered her last conversation with Kianes. It was when I tried it on the sly because I couldn't resist Layla's request.

Come on, Mr. Keanes. What do you think of Jane down the hill?
'Who is that?'
'Ah, the blonde girl I met last time. We even greeted each other... … . What do you think, Jane?
'I don't know. I've never really thought about it.
'Would you like to meet me?'
'… … What does it mean?'
'Hmm, I think Jane and Mr Keanes would make a good couple. Jane's personality is only as good as her face. It's hard to find a woman like Jane in Solen.
I don't like.
'Yeah? No, I'm not asking you to meet right now, but why don't you think about it? … .'
'Is that what it used to be? What did you tell me about a woman who didn't know if she was Jane or a sinner?

It was the first time Keanes had been so determined. I didn't even know Jane's name until now, which seemed impossible.
I'm sorry, Jane, but I didn't want to stress Keanes out more.
“I've already been rejected once. I don't think I can talk anymore."
“So, can't you arrange for us to meet naturally? My brokerage allowance will be reduced by two.”
"No. I don't think I'd be courteous to Mr. Keanes. If we're meant to meet, we'll meet somehow."
When Elizabeth flatly refused, Lila pulled back with a small grunt.
I was tired. Needless to say, Kianes was such an attractive man that the women of Solen would not let him go.
It was when I arrived at the mansion, harassed by Layla. Eden, who was practicing swordsmanship, found her and waved her wooden sword.
"Mother!"
"Are you here?"
Kianes greeted her, taking Elizabeth's luggage casually. While wiping the dirt from Eden's face with her lighter hands, the girl said boldly.
"Mom, I was praised by Master today!"
Eden followed close behind, probably because the word "master" stuck with her.
"Bark! Look at this, am I okay?
Eden demonstrated the posture she had learned today in front of him and quickly urged her to praise him as well.
"Your posture has improved a lot."
"ha ha ha."
Eden shrugged at the compliment and ran in, saying she'd come over after she washed up.
“Can I put this in the kitchen?”
"Oh yeah."
Elizabeth looked at Keynes. Looking at his expression, he seemed a bit relieved. He was somewhat relieved because he had always been in a bad mood about Jane's work.
Kiern frowned at the thought of Elizabeth, who must have carried quite a heavy load up the hill.
“It seems like every time I go down the hill, I take something with me.”
“Oh, every time Nora goes, she packs me something. Today, Layla brought an apology, so it was a bit more."
I don't know why they keep squeezing me so much every time I go downstairs. If you're going to give it to me, I'll even lend you a cart.
Kiern asked, looking down at her reddened palms and forearms.
“Weren't you heavy on the road? It would be nice to go down together next time.”
"No, this is fine. Mr. Keanes isn't even my secretary, so there's no need for that."
Isabel responded bravely and arranged the fruit and bread she received from Nora. Then, she washed an apple that Laila had given her and handed it to Keanes. It seemed that it was time to leave.
"Would you like some? It's sweet and delicious."
Kiern looked at the red apple he held out to her. The apple that dangled from the tips of the white fingers was very appetizing. Enough to want to lick and swallow.
Kiern didn't like Elizabeth, who didn't know me completely. That's all? When I tried to pressure him to do well with another woman, it seemed like his blood was rushing backwards.
If it's Lila, it's her mother.
Originally, it was a woman whose name I wouldn't even remember, but it was so shocking that it stuck with me. Kiern looked at the apple as if it were a love interest.
I kept getting cranky. I felt sorry for Elizabeth, who was trying to put me anywhere, and for being disappointed in herself.
Kiern leaned forward impulsively and took a bite of the apple in her hand. While gently holding her hand so she wouldn't slip away.
"Oh."
Elizabeth shuddered and trembled with embarrassment. Either way, Kiern chewed the apple slowly. The crunchy texture and the juice made the mouth feel sweet. He said, taking the apple from her as if nothing had happened.
"It's delicious."
His eyes were still fixed on her.
