"I love you without knowing how, or when, or from when. I love you simply without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving you,but this, in which there is neither I nor you, so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand; so intimate that when I fall asleep your eyes close. ~ Pablo Neruda

The next morning Blake decided to go to Lucy's place. It was early morning, and the clock struck at five. He walked silently across the road silently. It was a cool morning, and the sun was risen, slightly being hidden by the clouds. He tip-toed to her bedroom, and leaned against the door. He was admiring her face, as she was asleep. She looked beautiful, he thought. Her hair was gently resting upon the pillow, and her face glistened due to the sunlight that fell on her face. He smiled and closed his eyes, slowly, remembering the moments he spent with her.
"Blake?", Lucy said, slowly, slightly surprised. He opened his eyes.
"Good morning, Lucy", he said, walking towards her, and greeting her with a small morning smile.
"What are you doing here?", she asked.
He sighed in disappointment.
"I like to see you first thing in the morning, Lucy", he replied. She looked down, at her lap.
"Sorry."
"It's okay". They remained silent for some time.
"So how do you feel now?", he said.
"Great, it feels I wasn't ill at all", she said , smiling. Then, her phone rang.
"Hello?", she said, receiving it. "Oh, hi, Kristine"
"Hmm. Okay. Yep. Nope. Okay. Sure. Bye", she ended. Blake looked her with curiosity.
"Kristine told me to go with you", she said.
"Where?", he interrogated.
"I don't know. You should talk to her", she said. "I'll go freshen up."
"Okay. Do you need any help?", he asked. Lucy looked at him, embarrassed.
"Off course you can't help me in this, Blake", she said.
"No, I didn't mean that"
Her face turned red. "Oh", she said, and rushed into the washroom. Blake sat there, totally amused.
As soon as Lucy came out of the washroom, she saw Blake standing in front of her His blonde hair was combed, and his blue eyes bored into her brown ones. He had worn a white button-down with black jeans.
"White suits you", she said, looking down. Blake gave her a small, sad smile.
"It used to be your favorite , on me", he stated.
"Well, it is now too", she said, smiling at him.
Blake felt a sudden tingle of happiness bubble inside him. He felt happy, content. He grinned. He's such a nice guy, Lucy thought. I wonder how it might have been , being in love with him. She nodded at him and they went downstairs.
"Good morning, children", Mrs.Goodwin greeted. "Have your breakfast"
They sat down on the chair and chewed onto their food. Blake placed a tablet on her plate.
"Your medicine"
"Thank you"
"So are you both done?", Kristine said, getting inside.
"Yeah", Lucy said and then looked at Blake. He nodded.
"So let's go?", Eros said.
"Where are we going?", Lucy said, as she got out of the house.
"You'll understand, hopefully", Kristine whispered.
They got inside the car and Eros drove. Lucy stared at Blake. He looked back at her , curiously.
"Lucy, he's right there. Don't worry. He won't leave you", Kristine teased as she laughed. Lucy blushed.
"No I was just—"
"It's okay", Blake said, smiling at her. He felt like they were thirteen again, and it was one of those days when they first met. It was as if their story was been re-written , only this time, they were twenty. Kristine and Eros' heads were filled with excitement and hope of getting their gem back. Eros stopped the car.Blake recognized the place almost instantly. It was the same place where he'd brought Lucy on her 19th birthday. Kristine smiled at him.
"Come out", she said. Blake got out and waited for Lucy to come out. They stood there and looked at the sky.
"Ring any bells?", Eros asked Lucy. Lucy scanned the place for some time, a neutral expression on her face. She turned towards Eros and shook her head. Blake's hopes dropped. It's no use, he thought. Eros patted his shoulder lighe, he thought. Eros patted his shoulder lightly.
"What is this place?", Lucy said.
"Blake brought you here on your nineteenth birthday. Banners, balloons..", Kristine informed. Lucy looked him, sadly. He looked back at her, and smiled as if everything was okay. How well he plastered his feelings.
They got back inside the car and took Lucy to various places. The cafes, the gardens, every possible place they could remember. In the evening, they left her at home.
"It's no use, we've lost her", Blake said, shaking his head.
"No, Blake. We'll get her back, I promise.", Kristine assured.
"It's just day one. We always have a tomorrow", Eros said.
Blake just sat back, fighting his tears.

That night Lucy and Blake sat down on the bench in the street. They looked at the night sky, glistening with stars.
"I remembered something today, Blake", Lucy said. Blake looked at her .
"What was it?"
"This image.. of me and you dancing on a street.... But we're small, teenagers. Did something like that happen, Blake?"
Blake couldn't express his happiness.
"Yes, Lucy. It was one of the most beautiful memories you've created. It was our prom night"
"On the street?"
Blake laughed. "Yeah" They sat in silence for some time.
"How long have I been away?"
"Ten months"
"That's quiet long"
"It was longer than you could imagine.", he said, taking her hand. Then, he immediately released it. Lucy looked at him. She took his hand and smiled. Blake looked at her in surprise, and then, he softened. Perhaps she was gaining his trust.
"Do you still love me, Blake?"
"I do, Lucy. Why wouldn't I? I love you. And I always will"
