Alexa Ames
We headed over to the cafeteria, Nathan was leading while I followed him with stares from other people sinking on me.
"Okay, I'll pay, do you want the cheese and ham?" He pointed to a huge bagel that was leaking with cheese.
"No no, Nathan I'll pay, I will feel bad later on" I told him.
"Seriously it's okay, I can pay" He answered.
"I will feel really bad" I groaned like a small child.
"If you insist" He smiled, looking quite disappointed but he nodded at me before walking over to the tray stand, I followed him and grabbed a tray, then picked up a bagel, I left the leaking one for Nathan, but he wouldn't pick it up.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Nothing" He shook his head and picked up the bagel, sliding his tray down the rail and stopping at the pay point.
He typed in his lunch payment code and paid for the food, he slid off the railing and stood not quite far away, waiting for me.
I typed in my code and pressed pay, sliding my tray off the rails gracefully and walked to Nathan.
I grabbed my bagel and put the tray back on the stand, Nathan did the same.
"Okay, so what classes do you have?" He asked, taking a bite.
"Umm, I haven't been in for a long time so um" I mumbled.
"Why?" He asked, raising a brow.
"I kinda threw a tennis racket through a window" I shrugged, taking a bite of my bagel.
"Woah" He let out a chuckle and his eyebrows went high as hell, pretty sure there were all the way on this forehead.
"Yeah, I was sanctioned for one month as I had previous warnings that were also added onto my sanction time" I laughed.
"Badass" He whistled.
"No, that's nowhere near badass" I stopped laughing and took another bite.
"So, tell me what IS badass?" He took a bite of his, the cheese looked like it was drooling, not surprised why...Its getting eaten by a seriously hot dude.
"Um, I know how to use guns, I have done things like Judo, Martial Ar-"
"YOU'VE USED A GUN?!" He boomed with excitement, some people looked at me with horror.
"You don't need to tell the world, calm down" I hissed.
He blushed and went silent for a second, chomping down the rest of his bagel.
"Sorry" He said after finishing his whole bagel.
"And sorry for being rude" I replied.
He looked at me with a charming smile, it was warm and amazing.
Damn
"You look so cute" I blurted.
Wait what
"Umm thanks, but I think that sentence fits you more than it fits me" He shrugged, chuckling.
"Aww, thanks Nathan" I smirked, ruffling his hair gently.
Just then, the bell rung and the stampede begun.
This is probably the top reason I get into fights, bumping into people I hate.
"I h-have s-science, you?" He shouted, as people pushed past him.
"Uhh I need to check, one sec" I struggled to pull my planner out my bag when someone pushed past me with such force that it knocked my planner right out of my hand, it had landed on the floor but I could not figure out where it was.
Soon Nathan had gone to God knows where, I had to crouch down and gather my planner and all the sheets that fell out of it.
Almost everyone had moved away from me, in a respectful way. Yet no one helped to pick up my sheets for me.
There was one last sheet, I stretched my hand out to grab it, but my hand had landed on someone else's.
I raised my head up to see a slender, attractive boy with chocolate hair and glasses looking directly at me.
"Hi" He smiled, grabbing my sheet. I pulled my hand away in embarrassment and grabbed my planner and the sheet.
"Thanks" I smiled, nodding at him as a thanks.
"No problem" He turned around and walked hesitantly away, but he turned back around and began speaking again.
"Wait you're Alexa Ames right?" He asked, taking his glasses off and smiling.
"Uh yeah, but I go by Alex" I pointed .
"Okay then, Alex. See you later at Music" He said looking past my shoulder.
Music? He must have read my timetable...
I peeled my eyes off the attractive chocolatey boy and turned to see Nathan glaring lightly at the boy.
I turned back around before he could go, "WAIT! You didn't tell me your name!".
"Peter, Peter Parker" He smiled and walked off.
"Who was that geek" Nathan muttered.
"He just said his name, Peter Parker" I sighed.
"Whatever, so do you have science or not?" He asked softly.
"I don't, Im sorry. Meet you here at lunch then" I smiled comfortingly at him.
"See you Alexa" He hummed, as we went opposite ways.
"Alex" I shouted over my shoulder.
"I'll stick with Alexa" He replied, sounding jealous.
"Righty then" I whispered to myself.
