C-2: "Wait..."

3RD POV

Death was talking to Y/N about it being his guide to some different things in Honkai Impact to make him unable to alter the story too much.

After a week of getting settled Y/N was able to make basic survival gear such as a makes shift axe using hardened stone and a spear using a sharpened stick thanks to the guidance of Death.

While preparing things for a basic meal, Death was just stationary looking outside the cave. Meanwhile, Y/N was just sitting in the cave Death pointed him to as he was thinking of some things.

Y/N: "Hey... Death? Can I ask something?"

Death intrigued only moved closer and just silently nodded.

Y/N: "Why did you stop... You know, speaking all of a sudden. It's odd to just talk to myself when you can't even speak to me with sign language,"

Death was floating still not moving. Usually, when Y/N asked the question it was going to show him the thing he asked.

This time was an exception Y/N just waited as he prepared a fire to cook on a small pan he got by Death's pity.

Y/N: "Not answering me this time huh? Can I at least ask at what point are we in the story?"

This time Death moved around and nudged towards his pan as Y/N signed and waited for his food to be done and eat it.

Y/N: 'I miss home cooking with all the ingredients I have... I need to hunt now instead of taking things from the fridge or cupboard... I wonder how Hana is doing...'

Once Y/N finished eating his food Death began moving again.

Y/N: "Oi... You could've at least waited for me,"

Y/N followed Death whilst he is holding his makeshift spear in case of predators and singled out Honkai beasts to kill. After a few minutes of walking Y/N was beginning to get tired. Death however was having nine of it as it kept moving towards the unknown.

After some more time and a few Honkai beasts were killed and several falls from tree roots Y/N asked if he could take a break. This time Death allowed it as it stopped moving while Y/N took some berries after asking Death whether they were fine or not as a snack. They were delightful as he gathered some for later use.

But once that was done Death is back on the move as Y/N followed it. Soon enough more Honkai beasts were killed as he was confident in fighting Archangels one by one.

Soon though he found a small group of 4 Archangels. This is the first time he will be dealing with more than one thing at a time.

Y/N: "4 vs 1... Death can you guide me in this?*

Death just stops its original path and moves toward one of the Archangels and where Y/N should strike.

Moving towards it while blocking some hits from them. Though his arms weren't quite sturdy enough to fully block them yet.

But he managed to stab the target killing it. Death soon showed as a new target.

Y/N once again prepared to move toward it but his left arm was hit causing the target to move to the Archangel's halo that just attacked him.

Preparing another strike he struck the Archangel's halo but broke his spear in the process.

Now there's a new target on the stunned beast. Trying to think of a solution while dodging the other two Archangel's attacks he took his axe and ducked under a wing heading towards him making it hit the other beast as he ran towards the stunned beast with the axe killing it.
