C-4.5: "I Do Care"

3RD POV

Y/N: "What in the living Hell is this and how is it supposed to work..."

Y/N who is currently up late said in despair as he isn't getting the results he wanted. Let us catch up from a little bit ago.

Flashback

Y/N who had just finished his cooking returned to his room to research the sample Cocolia had given him some time ago. Especially after he had gotten the gloves from Death as his current final cheat card. It had given him the ability to control something similar to the sphere from earlier. 

So after connecting 2 and 2 he concluded that the glove can control whatever was inside of the sphere. By proving his hypothesis he wore the gloves and attempted to move the sample with his imagination. It barely moved which proved to him that he may be correct and he just needed to try harder.

After an hour of trying he managed to make some of it move to his will. Knowing that he was correct now he needed to do two things. Know what it is composed of and how to make it and how to control more of it as currently, he can barely move a little bit. 

Now that you have caught up to what was happening. That was 4 days ago. Now. Now let's catch up and see what he's doing. If you may?

Present time

Y/N can then be seen waking up on his desk with his hair all over the place. Slightly moving his hair he has what he deemed good enough.

Before he went outside though he noticed that there was a blanket that fell off him. Seeing that Gisei was missing a blanket he just placed it back where it was while thinking of what to cook.

Y/N: "Egg is getting boring... Maybe... Pancakes,"

Once he said that he ran straight to the kitchen and bumped into Gisei.

Y/N: "Ah, sorry about that,"

Y/N said slightly bowing as he sprinted away to the kitchen while Gisei just blinked in confusion and decided to see what he was doing.

Y/N meanwhile can be seen in the kitchen trying to make pancake batter.

He had some knowledge of baking from his previous life but they were just tips on making a good-tasting pancake.

Y/N: "Why is pancake so confusing to make? How do you tell when it's over-mixed or under-mixed?"

Meanwhile, Gisei who watched everything noticed him struggling and was trying not to laugh at his failures.

Noticing some sounds Y/N turned his head and saw Gisei hiding her head as he sighed.

Y/N: "Gisei, I know you're there..."

Y/N said tiredly as Gisei revealed herself again waiting for a chance to make fun of him.

Gisei: "Oh my God I'm sorry that your baking skill is horrible. Not really my fault though is it?"

Y/N: "Can you at least help me?"

Gisei: "Hmm, I don't know... I can, But..."

She then looked at Y/N as he grew a tick mark, knowing what she wanted.

Y/N: "I'm not saying it, maybe I'll just have to figure it out myself,"

Gisei: "Are you sure? It would be much faster if you said the word,"

Y/N: "I refuse,"

Gisei then just went away making Y/N sigh in relief... What he didn't know is that Gisei went back with a chair and sat in it while watching Y/N who didn't and kept failing.

Eventually, Gisei gave up on holding her laughter and just busted out laughing surprising Y/N.

After a few minutes of Gisei telling Y/N to say the word and Y/N failing over and over again he finally gave in.

Y/N: "Fine... Can you PLEASE help me with this,"

When Gisei heard that she immediately smirked and had the smuggest tone imaginable.

Gisei: "Hmm... I don't know... Perhaps if you were to promise me you'll cook for me for 3 days whenever I want to,"

Y/N who slowly began to grow more frustrated at her antics decided that pancakes are overrated anyways.

At least until he heard one of the other kids ask him to make pancakes for her because she overheard Y/N asking Gisei to help him make pancakes. He was about to say that he can't before more kids began asking him to make pancakes for them.

Unable to go against their wishes he said fine out of instinct and went to Gisei who had the victor smile.

Y/N: "You planned this didn't you?"

Gisei: "I have no idea what you're talking about,"

Y/N: "Whatever... Just help me with this,"

Gisei was teaching Y/N batter mixing making sure he didn't overmix it.

Once he finally learned how to do that he had to cook it at the right temperature and the right speed. Because when he poured the batter too fast it popped and scared the living hell out of him while Gisei was having the time of her life.

Gisei: "God this is hilarious... You and I are cooking together again sometime,"

After hours of cooking with Gisei and of course, failing a lot almost everyone was satisfied... Except for Y/N who had to cook something for Gisei 20 minutes ago.

After he finished cooking he decided to go back to his sample and research it again. During his research, he was alone thinking of some things.

Flashback

Hana: "Hey, Y/N... Can I ask you something?"

Y/N said nothing but nodded while he was trying to prepare notes for the test in 2 days.

Hana: "Do you care about anyone?"

Y/N: "Do I care? Of course, I do care about someone, why wouldn't I?"

Ha ha: "You just act so... Distant from the others that don't share the same interest as you,"

Y/N just shrugged as he finished the notepad.

Y/N: "Well whatever the problem is here, notes for our next test. Don't screw it up,"

Present time

Y/N: "I guess I do care for others... You just happen to be one of the few I cared about..."

Meanwhile

Gisei looking at the sea alongside Cocolia. Gisei seemed a little nervous but was amazed by the beauty of the Sea

Gisei: "Is this?"

Cocolia: "Yes, it is... This is the sea... The. X-10 labs are built down this sea... After all the sea contains honkai spills and we are hidden from Schicksal forced... Are you sure you're prepared for this?"

Gisei just looked down and nodded.

Gisei: "How long will this take?"

Cocolia: "It depends on the result. But if everything goes right it shouldn't take longer than 2 hours,"

Gisei just nodded as the experiment began. After all, she is the first subject for the X-10 experiment... The first and hopefully the only one.
