"What are you thinking about?" Kulusevski approached Richarlison and took a seat beside him. The Brazilian appeared to be lost in his thoughts, his gaze fixed on the grass.
Richarlison turned his head to the right, finding Kulusevski there. Before answering, he gave his teammate a long, contemplative look. "Just some things," he replied softly, his eyes returning to the field.
Silence enveloped the space between them. Kulusevski sensed that Richarlison wasn't ready to open up, so he decided not to press him further. Respecting his teammate's need for space, he remained quietly by his side.
As Kulusevski got up from the bench, he turned to face Richarlison. "Whatever you're going through, remember that it will pass. Better times will come if you hold onto hope," he said, offering a few words of encouragement. With a supportive smile, he made his way to the cafeteria, leaving Richarlison with his thoughts.
Amelia exclaimed in a tired voice, "God damn, I am finally free." Amelia was relieved when her shift for today came to an end because she had been standing constantly and her feet had grown fatigued from all the standing.
Before heading to the elevator for the parking lot, Amelia said, "Have a great day, guys!" in the changing room.
Happily entering the car and driving home, Amelia couldn't wait to finally go home and lay in her bed. Just the thought of laying in her bed made her extremely happy.
Amelia realized she still needed to pick up Joana from the daycare while she was waiting for the traffic signal to turn green after it turned red. Amelia groaned, not wanting to pick up Joana because she was too exhausted, but she needed to because Richarlison is probably too busy and she didn't want to call another person.
"Hello, Mrs. Andrade. It's nice to see you again! Joana was a joy today, full of energy and enthusiasm," revealed the daycare lady with a warm smile.
Amelia's heart swelled with happiness upon hearing that Joana had been well-behaved at daycare. If there was one thing she hoped for, it was that Joana would flourish in that environment and never become a problem child. Amelia couldn't be prouder of her little girl for her good behavior.
As Joana wrapped her arms around Amelia's legs, Amelia knelt down to lift her up into a loving embrace. With a gentle kiss on Joana's cheek, she greeted her daughter, "Hi Joana." The little girl giggled and nestled into her mother's neck, feeling safe and loved.
"I want to thank you for taking care of her so late. They wouldn't let me leave earlier, even though I really wanted to pick her up sooner," Amelia expressed her gratitude to the daycare provider. The woman smiled warmly and reassured her, "It's okay. Many parents have to pick up their kids later due to work. it's completely understandable."
Back at home, Richarlison was playing with the Siberian Husky in the garden. The dog's chew toy was being thrown back and forth by him. The Siberian Husky later returned to the indoor of the house, which piqued Richarlison's curiosity about what had caused the dog to do so.
When Richarlison got up and entered the home, he saw Joana lying on the floor laughing and giggling as the dog lathered her face with licks.
Coming from the kitchen, Amelia commented, "Come on Ruffy, I just washed Joana's face." as she noticed the dog licking Joana's face.
Richarlison let a laugh out and went to Amelia to inquire about her work shift. Despite how much he wanted to welcome her with a kiss, he was unable to do so because of their impending divorce. Amelia told him that her shift had gone alright, although she felt really drained after he shift, it was nothing out of the ordinary for her. She kept him in the uninformed about what happened last night at the hospital. Amelia normally would have told him every small thing, but she doesn't feel like telling him everything right now.
"How was today's training? I heard you guys will face Arsenal on January 15th," Amelia inquired, taking advantage of her break to check the Premier League match schedule and learning about Tottenham's upcoming game.
"Yes, we will, and I hope everything goes well. I'm really hoping for the best outcome, especially for myself. I want to finally score a goal," Richarlison responded, his eyes reflecting both determination and a hint of worry.
Richarlison was about to ask Amelia if she would be there to support him, but the reality of their situation hit him like a wave. They were no longer together, and it wouldn't be appropriate to assume anything. He quickly closed his mouth, feeling a mix of emotions.
Before Richarlison could fully conceal his momentary lapse, Amelia caught on to his unspoken question and smoothly added, "I'll be rooting for you from afar. I hope the game goes incredibly well for you." She offered a warm smile, hoping to ease any discomfort he might be feeling.
Amelia loved visiting and watching Richarlison games. She was always interested in football but never really attended matches until Richarlison started his football career. From the very beginning, it has truly been an roller coaster trip. She was delighted that everything worked out for him and couldn't be prouder of him for following his passion. Amelia described Richarlison as "someone who has gotten himself into some troublesome football moments as a result of being sometimes a beast on the field and not really caring about what other people think." Even if he wasn't the friendliest on the field, he has a kind heart off the field. She admired Richarlison's constant involvement with charity and donations of goods. She adored how he was always thinking about global issues.
Richarlison has a big heart, and everyone who knows him personally knows it to be true. Amelia doubts that she will ever find someone like him again. He is someone you don't want to lose because of his greatness.
Amelia left the dining table to clean up the dishes, and Richarlison kindly offered to help, but she declined, leaving Joana and Richarlison alone at the table. The adorable toddler pointed at Amelia while babbling the word "mama," capturing Richarlison's heart with her innocence. He couldn't help but smile at the sight of his daughter's affection for her mother.
"Your mama is absolutely beautiful, Joana," Richarlison remarked, his admiration for Amelia evident in his words. To him, Amelia was the epitome of beauty, and he felt incredibly fortunate to have her as his wife and Joana's mother.
Seeing her gesture, Richarlison understood that she wanted to leave the high chair. Gently lifting her up, he cradled Joana in his arms, and she clung to him tightly as if she never wanted to let go. It warmed his heart to feel her affection, and he was more than happy to keep her close.
Richarlison savored this precious moment with his daughter, cherishing the love and bond they shared. He couldn't imagine a more beautiful sight than Joana looking up at him with those innocent, adoring eyes. As a father, he felt an overwhelming sense of love and protectiveness, promising himself to always be there for Joana and Amelia, cherishing their little family and the beautiful moments they created together.
