The summer camp thing

BONFIRES

Our scheduled time for planning was 12-6:30, finishing up we still had lots of work to do tomorrow and the next. I helped Drew and Tay clean up their planing station since I didn't even use mine...

The sun sets at 7:15 assuming the bonfire would be after that we had a bit of chill time now.

Tay, Row, and drew all came over to my cabin. I always packed hella clothes practically my whole closet from my moms and dads house, we were going to find what we should wear to this bonfire. Tay had meet this guy from cabin 5 named jax it was so obvious she got all giggly and quiet around him. Of course we had to dress to impress.

I through on my outrageously expensive hippie pants (why are all the cute ones like 100$ 😭)  but I adored them, I put my hair up in two fun loose "space buns" with drew's big hoodie we all just shared clothes at camp.

Drew wore jean jorts claiming 'it's not that cold' with a lightening mcqueen baggy shirt (it was mine everytime I wore it I felt like a kid and loved it)

Tay was basically matching me while row wore leggings, we hated them but she was the queen of lulu.

When we were again all in a gossip circle on my bed a familiar smiling face popped in the door.
"Cooper! what's up" I asked
"ah so you are going tonight I could walk y'all there so you don't get lost" he winked ...
"oh ave would love that" row piped up
"should we go now what time is it?" I leaned over grabbing my phone seeing it was 7:30
"yes let's hit it!" tay hopped up pulling our arms up aswell.

When all headed outside and damon was last out looking more annoyed than usual tailing behind all of us, cooper was walking right next to me.

The smell of smoke flew in the light wind.
"we'll here we are" cooper announced, it looked like every counselor ended up coming.

"Ave would you care for a drink?"
"of course thank you" i smiled

While coop got up drinks and tay wondered off to her boy, row and drew gossiped in the background. That's when another voice popped up.
"what's with you and coop he won't tell me shit"
"well that's because your you, ... aren't you guys friends"
"right, you know he's like way worse than me"
"mhm and Im supposed to believe that why?"
"He got in the mess with me you know... He-"
Cut off by cooper arriving again pushing Damon out of the conversation.
"hey here ya go, hey Damon"
"Cooper." it was like they had a conversation with only their eyes. A warning? Anyways he wondered off.
After some small talk with coop I learned he didn't have a co counselor yet or she was coming later.
"are you not scared all alone in your empty cabin ?" I had finished whatever acl concoction was put into the drink a bit tipsy now.
"well you could help me not be so lonely" he laughed tilting his head in with mine. At first it was a few light peaks but it turned to a full makout. I could taste the strong acl on his breath.

I pulled away first smiling looking up at him.
"You're cute ave" he chuckled leaning in to my ear brushing my hair back saying "you wanna go to mine?"

"Hey ave let's get you back to the cabin shall we" Two stern hands placed on my shoulders slightly pulling back.

I spinned around stumbled giggly "oh damonnn it's you!" I through my arms around him falling into his chest.

"damon I've got her" reaching out for me
"Nah sorry man you can't have this one"
"whatever he sipped the rest of the acl from his red solo cup walking off to another girl, immediately putting his arm around her.

"ok let's get out of here"
"but it's only its only... whatever time ?"
"it's 10:32"
"oh it's only 10:32!"
" right and we shouldn't be here when the camp leaders find a bunch of screaming drunk teens"
"boo hoo where's drew" I scanned the crowd for any of my friends
"They left a bit ago"
I put my hand to my forehead like I had goggles "JOSH!"
He immediately looked over and i jumped waving.
Josh ran over seeing damon right next to a very drunk me.
"yo are you good" he supported my body
"yasss!"
"I'm taking her back to the cabin" damon claimed
"Maybe I should go with"
" relax Im staying there to theres no reason for you big boy" damon took my hand
"bye ave"
"bye bye" I skipped around in front of damon

"you are oddly smiley"
" heheah why wouldn't I be" then my mind wondered "WAIT... coopers gonna be all alone in his cabin" I frowned stooping in front of damon pointing back.

"oh I'm sure he'll be fine" he pulling me by the waist.

"wow! wow wow!"
"what is it now?"
"it's freezing in this place!"I shivered falling to the floor very fast.
"christ ave you're unpredictable"
"brrrr hey more bodies make it warmer!" I jumped up taking his hand running to my room with him in tow.
"oh so you wanna sleep together again"
"you are silly damon!" i flopped down on the bed
"AH it's like ice!"
Without a word damon grabs me over his shoulder and brings me to his room. The temperature feels 50 degrees warmer.

"whoaaaa i'm flying in the sun" I melted immediately into his bed when he let me down. while he shit the doors and changed I had already passed out.

I woke up, not moving as everything from last night hit me.
"oh hey" a groggy voice said
"oh." I sat up fast just to realize who and then to be hit with the worst headache ever falling back down.
Laughing damon got up throwing on a tee shirt. He was TONED took everything in me to look away as soon as possible closing my eyes.
he acted normal like it wasn't even weird how crazy I was last night.

That's when I heard our main cabin door open, For a split second I thought about running out not wanting any unnecessary rumors but fuck it im hung over and tired.

Depending on the person I couldnt be to bad...
"Ave?! where are you" josh's voice
"shit" I mumbled putting my head into on of damon's pillows.

Damon signed roughly going through his hair with his hand opening his door to meet josh just about to knock of damon's door.
"oh uh... ave-" josh looked back at damon then me again rushing into damon's room without permission.
"right now why are you in here josh" damon said annoyed
Josh shook me and pulled me up.
"hey i'm still sleeping" i cried
" what are you doing in there dumbass"
I stood up walking past him to my room falling on my cold bed.
"aghhh" I let out a small scream my bed so so cold still.
"AVE we needa talk" josh rushed into now my room shutting the door.
"fine just sit here" I pointed next to me on the bed, leaning on his shoulder when he did.
"ok so explain"
"what"
"you know exactly what and how bad this looks"
"it was cold and I was drunk ok and now i'm hung over that's all"
Josh signed heavy " right."
