Nice to Meet you

      The tables and benches were simple wood. The decoration were simple and beach inspired but I didn't pay much attention to them. I couldn't take my eyes off the boy I was lost in sea green eyes and perfect body. Then I realized that he was staring right back  at me. Suddenly I heard a voice next to me.
      "One cheeseburger with bacon and ketchup, fries and a medium Dr. Pepper."
       I snapped out of my trance. The person taking to me was a waitress. She had a tray and set down each of the food items in front of me as she said them.
     "Thank you" I said startled. The waitress walked away back to the kitchen.
       I started eating and trying my best not to feel self conscious. The cheeseburger was delicious, juicy and flavorful. The fries were amazing it was exactly what I wanted.
       I noticed the cute boy's friends teasimg him and pushing him around. He was blushing, making his friends laugh even harder. Then reluctantly I saw him get up and come towards me. He looked back at his friends for help, but they just shooed him towards me. I looked up at him. His friends at the other table were watching intently and trying not to laugh.
"Do you need something" I asked smiling jokingly
     He swallowed,"I was just wondering, uh," he looked back at his friends, "do you want to go out with me. He finished quickly.
       I laughed " hmmm, I  don't see why not. What were you thinking of doing. I smiled teasingly, but I was blushing too.
   He blushed and smiled nervously. "How about tomorrow, here. Same time same place"
    "Ok, yeah, sure" by this time I was blushing so hard that I was sure my whole red.
      "Uh, cool, yeah." He brushed his hair out of and turned around and under his breath he said "I can't believe she said yes." He walked over to the table where his friends were waiting.
    I tried to finish my meal but we just gazed into each others eyes, from aross the room smiling at each other. 
          After I finally finished lunch I went out to the ocean to swim. I was cool and nice. I had brought out my floaty and I bobbed up and down with the waves, which were not very big in this section of the water.  As I floated there I thought about my encounter and my "date" tomorrow. I was tired so I just floated there for a while daydreaming.
    I just hung out at the beach until about 4 or 5 o'clock. I found a bathroom and changed clothes into a clean dry t-shirt and shorts. I slipped on a pair flip flops and headed back to thhe car.  the evning was sill and warm.  The beach was alot less busy and way more quiet it was peaceful. The sun was still out because it was the middle summer but most people including me were heading back home for dinner.
