The Date

The next day I woke up early and excited.  I could hardly wait.  My date wasn't till lunch time so I went to  beautiful outdoor cafe for breakfast and watched the sun come up.  Afterward I went into town and looked at some sights and went window  shopping. I ended up buying a nice sun dress and a picture to bring home.

By the time that I had shopped looked around to  my hearts content it was just after 10 o' clock. So I walk back home and got ready for lunch at the beach.  I pack a bag with a towel, sunscreen and change of clothes. I put on a bikini and an oversized blue t-shirt.  There was still a little bit of time so i just chilled on my bed untill about 11:30. Then I went out and drove to the beach. I was only a few minutes early so I had time to lay out my stuff and start putting on sunscreen before I heard a vioce behind me.

I was sun screening my face when I heared a joking voice say " pleh, you should spray you date in the face with sunscreen." 

I whirled around startled. Then I realised who it was and and smiled.

"sorry," I said blushing bright red. "Hi, Im Tessa". I said almost forgeting my name. 

He laughed "I'm Gabe. You hungry?" He said gestering to the restaurant next to us. 

"famished lets get some food"

He grabbed my hand, his hand was warm and his grip was loose and sweet, and we walked together to the counter to order.  

"What do you want" he said looking at me .

I ordered the same thing that I had yesterday plus a milkshake with two straws. 

"is chocolate ok for the milkshake" I asked 

"sure" he said 

After he ordered we sat down at the table next to eachother. His hand rested lightly on mine he was warm and inviting.  I barely knew him but I loved him. I moved in closer and layed my head on his bare chest. 

"Tell me about yourself" he said 

I took a deep breath, got comfortable and started talking. I told him about my place in North Carolina. I told him about my job and my summer  vacation to Flordia. I told him about my family there.  I told him about my childhood and my struggle with my seizure dissorder. 

"you have seizers" he said his face sweetly concerned. It made me smile.

"Yeah, since birth unfortunately" I said 

 I was about to say more but just then the waitress walked up with our food and we started eating. I took my head off his sholder and dug into my burger. He didn't make any comment on how much I was eating which was good. We both grabbed for the shake at the same time and our finger touched lightly. We both looked up then down at the shake. Them we both went in for a drink at the same time.... and bumped heads. unfourtunately we were not in a movie. We both rubbed our heads. Oof not the best first impression.  I thought  

" sorry" he said 

"Me too, do you want a drink first."

"Ladys first" He said pushing the cup towards me. 

After we finished lunch we threw away our trash and decided to go to the beach. I took off my tee shirt and left it with my stuff. I also put on sunscreen letting him rub it in on my back. His touch was strong but gentle and it feels so good.  Then we walked to the beach, me half skipping. He twirled me around a few times playfully and I laughed.  All the sudden I stumbled into him gasping with shock feeling his skin on mine my head perfectly on his chest. He looked strait into my soul.

"You have the most beautiful eyes" he said.

I looked at his face, his kind blue eyes, his perfect nose, his soft, soft lips. Something came over me and I grabbed his head and kissed him passionately. To my surpise he kissed me back.  I leaned into his body my tounge slipping into his mouth and entertwining with his. We fell into the sand still kissing deeply with me on top.  We rolled on our sides facing eachother. finally coming up, gasping for air.  

"wow" He said out of breath

I snapped out of my trance feeling embarrassed. "I'm sorry" I said rollling to face away curling up in a ball " I don't know what came over me. I...I no, no stupid, stupid, stupid." I mumbled trailing off.

He layed his hand on mine, " Hey, its ok. I love you. Your beautiful,  smart, passionate and strong. " He moved a little closer. "How about we go out to the water, take it slow and enjoy the rest of our date" 

I smiled he knows me so well already. He opened his arms, I moved into them, and he held me in an embrace. We stayed like that for a  while before going down to the beach to enjoy the rest of our date.
