I saw Mom.
"Oliver."
I opened my eyes.
"Oliver." She called.
Slade
I saw Shado.
"I'm dead."
Oliver
I shook my head.
Slade
"Come here."
Oliver
"Oliver. Oliver."
Mom and Thea were tied up.
"I was dead the last time you were offered this choice."
"Slade."
"What's happening?" Thea questioned.
I sat up.
"I often wonder how you looked... When he pointed the gun at Shado..."
He squatted in front of me.
"And took her from me."
"You psychopath. Shado... Shado wasn't yours!"
"No. She was yours until you chose another woman over her."
"That's not what happened!"
"It is what happened! It is!"
Slade stood up.
He was in front of me.
"She told me!"
Slade was pointing to an empty spot.
"What do you mean? She?" I inquired.
"There's nobody there!" I yelled.
"Slade... You were on the Island with Oliver?" Mom questioned.
Mom and Thea stared across at me.
"I thought I had known true despair..."
He stepped closer to her.
"Until I met your son."
She sobbed.
"I trusted him... To make the right choice."
"Let me make the right choice now. Kill me."
"No!" Thea yelled.
"Choose me! Please!"
"I am killing you, Oliver."
Slade pulled a gun out.
"Only more slowly than you would like."
He cocked the trigger.
"Don't."
"Choose."
Slade aimed the gun at Mom's head.
"No." She told him.
"Don't..."
"Choose."
Slade aimed the gun at Thea's head.
"Choose."
"Please."
"Choose."
He had the gun against her head.
"I swear to God, I am going to kill you!"
"Choose!"
"No! No! No."
Mom got up.
"Mom."
"No!"
"Mom, what are you doing?" I questioned.
"There's only one way this... Night can end."
"No." Thea said.
She turned to Slade.
"And we both know that." Mom pointed out.
"Don't we, Mr. Wilson?" She inquired.
"Mom! Please, don't!" I pled.
"Both of my children will live." Mom told him.
"Mom!" She called.
"What are you doing?" Thea questioned.
She sobbed.
"Thea, I love you." She told Thea.
Slade aimed the gun at Mom's head.
"Close your eyes, baby!" She yelled.
"No!" I yelled.
A tree was near me.
I rammed my shoulder into it, dislocating it.
I slid my arms out of the rope.
"You possess true courage."
I snapped my shoulder joint back in place.
He lowered the gun.
Slade put it away.
He stepped closer to her.
"I am truly sorry."
"What?"
Slade turned around.
"You did not pass that onto your son."
He drew his sword.
Slade
Oliver lurched forward at the last second.
He grunted as the sword went through his face.
"Ollie!"
Oliver yanked it out.
"What the—"
"Thea!"
She quieted down.
A motorcycle engine reeved.
"Sara!"
Sara pushed through the trees.
"Are you nuts?!" She yelled.
"Take this and fight him."
"Me?!"
"Yeah, you."
"Why don't you fight him?!"
"Because this is your fault!"
"Technically, it's Anthony Ivo's fault, not mine."
Oliver gave Sara a look.
"Fine."
She yanked the sword out of his hand.
Sara and me were sword fighting.
She was skilled.
Way more skilled than him.
Oliver broke the ropes off Thea and Moira.
Sara had me pinned to the ground.
"Give me the cure!"
"I don't—"
"I know you kept one tube of it!"
Oliver put a tube in her hand.
Sara injected it into my neck.
Oliver
Slade passed out from the cure.
I knew STAR Labs was making more of the cure.
Mom and Thea sighed.
I hugged both of them.
