Chapter Six

The silence in the base was loud. Ratchet was patching up Bulkhead's wounds, while the others were already healed.

Ratchet let out a sigh, "This is going to be a problem."

"So you're saying-" Jack intercepted, "You all we're fighting another versions of yourselves?"

Smokescreen tensed up, "....you could say that."

"Why don't we give them a nickname just in case?" Miko suggested. "Maybe Shattered? Since they're the broken versions?"

Everyone stared at Miko, raising a brow.

"Wrong time?" Miko shrugged awkwardly.

Ultra Magnus ignored her, "From what I have heard, Nemesis is the leader of the- shattered versions of ourselves. And they call themselves the 'Autobots', not the Decepticons."

"That's true." Bumblebee confirmed. "But-"

He started, but Arcee interrupted. "They had Cliffjumper..... Cliff was with them."

"Cliffjumper?!" Ratchet stood up from the wall. "But how-"

"It seems like shattered Cliffjumper is a different person than our Cliff." Bulkhead frowned. "It's as if they were from another world."

Raf then looked up from his computer. "......what if they were?"

"Jack, Miko, and I got teleported to another dimension when the two ground bridges were near each other right?" Raf asked, keeping his eyes on the screen.

Ratchet replied, "Yes, but we haven't detected any ground bridges during the past few days."

"What about a relic?"

Ratchet furrowed his brows, "A relic? I don't recall.... wait-" He then ran over to the monitor, pointing at a certain area on the screen. "There was a signal that was similar to a relic, but it disappeared a second after. So I didn't pay any mind to it."

"So you're saying that Nemesis, used a relic to get to our world?" Smokescreen asked.

Raf fixed his glasses, "That's what I suspect, but I'm not fully sure."

"That could be a possibility." Optimus muttered.

"Our versions from another world; that's interesting." Wheeljack commented, "Their world also seems to have different events.....seeing Cliffjumper and all."

Arcee slowly nodded. "So- what's our plan?"

Everyone turned to Optimus, who had already thought of a plan. "We will retrieve the relic, and send Nemesis to their dimension." He spoke.

"Easier said than done." Bulkhead scratched the back of his helm.

"But we'll have to try." Bumblebee beeped.

Miko beamed, "Yeah! After all, you all are so much stronger than they are!"

Arcee's frown turned into a slight smile. "I won't let them disrespect Cliff like that. Let's do it."
