Optimus POV

Apparently, Ratchet asked Bumblebee to call me over to him. He wanted to talk about the energon storage we had in the base.

"We seem to be running out of energon in an alarming rate." He started. "Since someone decided to take in a lot more than usual."

He glared at Smokescreen and Bulkhead, the two avoided his glare. Leading Arcee and Miko to laugh.

I turned back to Ratchet, "I see. We will need to look for as many energon mines as we can."

"Of course." He replied, "Maybe we could also-"

My audio receptors suddenly slowly tuned out Ratchet's voice. As it was replaced with a sudden ring, it got louder and louder until I felt a sharp pain. I placed a hand on my head to keep me steady, until Ratchet's voice came back to me.

"Optimus? Optimus!" He looked at me concerned, "Are you alright?"

I placed my hand down. "Yes- I am alright."

"You sure?" Miko asked. "You seemed a bit out of it."

Ratchet interrupted, "Why don't I check on you just in case, Optimus?"

"If you insist..." I obliged, holding my head against the pain once more.

"There doesn't seem to be anything wrong..." Ratchet stared into the monitor. "But you should take a break. The others can take on the mission."

I sat up, "Ratchet, I can assure you that I'm alright-"

"I can take charge when you're resting, sir." Ultra Magnus suggested, but was cut short as Bumblebee ran passed him.

He beeped, full of worry. "Optimus? Are you okay?"

"I'm alright, Bumblebee." I assured him, putting my hand on his shoulder.

He continued, "You should take a rest; you've done enough today."

"Again, I am alright." I stood up. "Ratchet, is there any more decepticon activity?"

Ratchet quickly turned to the monitor, "Well, they seemed to have taken another energon mine-"

"Bumblebee, Bulkhead, Arcee, and Smokescreen. You will be coming with me."

"Alright!" Smokescreen replied.

"Are you sure you don't want to take a rest?" Arcee asked.

"He seems fine to me." Bulkhead shrugged. "We should focus on kicking some decepticons' afts now!"

She smirked, "I guess so."

Ratchet seemed to have other plans. But he opened the ground bridge entrance for us to go through.

"Good luck!" We heard the kids say goodbye.

Bumblebee waved before he transformed into his alt mode. I did the same, but was intercepted with the sharp pain once more. I ignored it and went through the ground bridge; it possibly couldn't get any worse.
