"I MISS you." [name] sighed, placing a bouquet of silk flowers in the field of glaze lilies. "not a day goes by where i do not yearn for your voice flowing through my ears once more."

the sky was clear today- not a cloud in the sky, as the sun shined brightly and wind blew gently. her earrings blew too- as did the glaze lilies that swayed back and forth, rustling as if they were speaking back to the god.

"i retired, recently." [name] laughed, sitting down in front of the headstone, leaning back on her arms. "life is tiring, you know? especially without you- i don't know what to do."

she let an exhale out of her nose, a breath she didn't know she was holding. "i'm lost. i have no guidance, and as much as cloud retainer tries she just-"

she paused, looking at the clear sky. "-she just isn't you."

she laughed again, sitting upright. "i'm sorry, i'm rambling again." the lilies shook in protest- they didn't mind. "i retired, and i went to earth. they know of me, apparently, and they've treated me quite well. i think earth is in danger- although i'm not sure, and i think my help may be needed."

she gave up on sitting upright, instead falling backwards into the soft field, and just letting her body relax. "from one nation to another, it seems i'm always needed, isn't that right, guizhong?"

the lilies didn't reply.

"welcome back, [name]-sama." nanami greeted the woman, who was just about to open the door to her room. "is there anything i could get you for your room? anything at all?"

"hello, kento." the man flushed a light pink at the use of his first name, realizing that the god had probably given up on honorifics. "i was wondering- does earth use mora as well, or is there a different sort of currency needed?"

"mora...?" nanami stared at her in confusion. "what is 'mora'?"

"mora... like my name, morax? the teyvat currency, that i created?" she explained, slightly offended.

"oh! my apologies, [name]-sama!" nanami said, ignoring the woman's pleas to just call her by her name. "no, we use yen here. please, is there anything you need? i'd be glad to get it for you- all free of charge, of course, it would be an honor!"

"kento," he flushed again, "please stop calling me by honorifics. just call me [name]- i am your friend, not your boss. can we-" she paused, thinking of her next words carefully. "can we go out together? to get necessities?"

nanami was beet red at this point. him, friends with a god? an ancient, pretty god? this couldn't possibly be real. "i don't think- i'm not worthy- i-"

"kento," she softly called, running her hand through his hair, causing him to go stiff. "let's go shopping."
