Yuki sometimes wondered if there will come a time when he can be friends with Mori Akihiro. But there were just too many bitter memories and he would like to move on from that if possible. If he hadn't met him by accident or even gotten hired by the company where Akihiro was the CEO, he would be doing this.

But it was a lie though...

He should've done the moving-on part a long time ago. Right after graduation. Or perhaps, right after Akihiro rejected him.

Who is he kidding? Yuki thought desperately to himself. He had never moved on from that first "crush" and he had never felt anything remotely close to this to anyone in his life. And this was why he doesn't want to be friends with Akihiro. Because being friends with him means giving himself a chance, and that chance would give him hope.

And he doesn't want that hope.

He doesn't want that hope shattering in front of his face when he gets rejected again.

Mori Akihiro was a reminder of what kind of person Hirano Yuki was in the past. And he doesn't want that kind of Yuki anymore.

"Earth to Hirano Yuki!"

Hikaru's shrilling voice disrupted his thoughts and he returned this with a huge scowl on his face.

"Are you sure you're up to this?" Masami asked, also checking on Yuki's pale complexion.

"We can only do this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning," Yuki snapped. "We should make the best out of it."

"Fuck! Fuck, shit, bitch, dick, ass!"

The sudden outburst made all three look at Sawaya Hikaru who seemed to have finally lost his mind.

Yuki pulls a face, "What are you doing?"

"Well, I have to get them all out now because I can't cuss in that fucking game," the other simply remarked, rendering them all speechless.

[WELCOME BACK TEAM E002, DESTINATION: THE IMPERIAL CAPITAL...]

Waking up in an unfamiliar room and staring straight at the canopy of an unfamiliar bed was something she didn't expect. For instance, as far as she was concerned, it was already passed midnight in the other world that she knows—that world that seems to be a fever dream now.

"Wake up, Princess!"

That voice. As she opened her eyes, the green orbs met the hazel ones. The other person, an elf, was peering down at her face as she lay sprawled lazily on the bed.

"Princess" sat down on the bed rubbed her eyes and tried to make out her surroundings. "Is it okay if I tape your mouth shut just for a day, Isilynor?"

"Get up! She's here."

"Who's here?"

"Eiko. Who else?"
