Princess, Isilynor, Lazuli, and Sable finally reached the point where they could hatch their eggs. Usually, in every MMORPG, pets were the most interesting part of the game. They can attack, follow, assist the players, defend their master, and even collect items for them, not to mention that were cute.
It was now Princess's turn to hatch her egg and she was actually expecting something that she can use as a mount. Apparently, Lazuli got a "Fenrir", an ancient ice wolf big enough for a pixie to ride on. This was beneficial for Lazuli since he has very low stamina, and the mount can help him conserve his energy.
However, their leader Princess got the smallest pet among them which was a cross between a dragon and a lizard. Sometimes, a Komodo dragon too. It has small wings behind its back, it's quite stout with big, wide eyes and it's green.
"This is what hatched from my egg?" Princess repeated making her members look at her sympathetically.
"No matter how I look at it, how can this little thing help you with your mission?" the elf, Isilynor stated. "I doubt it can carry items. Unless it is magical like our backpack?"
"What are you talking about?" Princess snapped. "Everything in this world is magical. Shouldn't we be more surprised if it can't do anything else other than look cute?"
Before the elf could argue with the female warrior, Eiko, their ever-reliable AI helper suddenly spoke, "Will the owner of the pet please place a drop of blood on it to finalize the ownership?
Princess looked at her, then looked at the small creature now hovering a few feet above the ground, fluttering its little wings and staring back at her with glitter in their eyes.
She sighed deeply and resigned to her fate, "Fine. I guess I have no other choice but to take you with me, eh? Come here, I'll name you."

After hatching Princess's egg, they left to open a new area 500 miles away from the imperial city.
