"Evan, open my present first!" Susie yells as she pushes the bright colored gift down the table. Evan is having his birthday party at Fredbear's, I thought that he was scared of this place. Evan would always tell me how Mike would lock him in the storage room.

Susie, Evan, and I were the last ones left because Gabriel, Jeremy, and Fritz ran off to play the arcade machines. All three of us were talking about the party. I stare at the animatronics: Fredbear and Springbonnie. I couldn't see how Evan was scared of them. I thought that they were cute and cuddly. Then again, Evan was scared of a lot of things. I still love him though. I didn't mind comforting him when he has his moments.

I start talking to Evan when Mike jumps out at him. Evan screams and hides behind his Fredbear plush. I never knew why he wasn't scared of that thing. It would appear out of nowhere. Mike walks off with his friends and snicker. Michael is extremely annoying.

I turn around because I hear Fritz and Jeremy screaming my name. "Y/N, play this arcade with us!" I turn back to Evan, and he nods at me and smiles. I run away from the table and jump of Fritz's back. "Y/N, stop jumping on people's backs." Gabriel demands, staring straight into my eyes.

"Just because you're a year older than me doesn't mean that you can boss me around." I say rolling my eyes. Gabe sighs and mumbles to himself. Gabriel and I are half-siblings, we have different dads. We still treat each other as full siblings, though. We argue over the smallest things but we still stick with each other.

I hear someone running and I see Susie, she looks... Scared?

"Susie, are you okay?" Gaberiel asks her. I swear he is the dad of the group.

"Evan... Mike grabbed Evan and is taking him to Fredbear!" Susie exclaims in between breathes.

"Isn't Evan like, deathly afraid of Fredbear?" Fritz questions as everyone stares at him.

Suddenly, we hear screaming. I run out of the arcade room and into the party room. I look at Fredbear and see blood dripping down his mouth. Over to the side, I see Michael and his 3 other friends. I feel Gabriel grab my hand as the others catch up to me. I feel tears running down my face.

I push Gabe's hand away and run up to Evan's body. I grab his body and pull him into my arms. I feel someone grab my shoulder and see Mr. Afton staring at me.

"What happened Y/N." Mr. Afton demands me. I can't talk, I can only cry.

"I said, what happened?" Afton says, more sternly than before.

I muster out between sobs, "Mike and his friends."

I look at Evan again and start bawling, worse than before. It feels like the whole world has stopped. I pull my hand up to my face and see blood stains. I hug Evan, "I should have never left, I'm so sorry. I will see you again, you will make it." I feel Evan being taken out of my arms. I scream as my mom picks me up and take me and Gabriel home.

I cry the whole way home. I look at my blood-stained clothes and remember the way his face looked. I could barely even recognize him with all of the blood running down his face. I could only imagine what he felt when that happened. Evan was probably so confused and scared.

When we got home, Mom made me go take a shower. I could only stand in there and cry. I will never see my best friend again. I mean, I am close to everyone at the party, but I wasn't as close to them as I was with Evan. I gasp as I make a realization: how would Charlie react to this. Evan and Charlie are cousins, but I didn't see her at the party.

As I enter my room, I look out the window and several police cars. I live right across from Fredbear's so I will be reminded of this day for the rest of my life. I walk over to my bed and stare at the ceiling. I cry until I fall asleep.
