Rose nervously fidgeted with her phone as she sat on her bed. She had been scrolling through her social media accounts for what felt like hours, trying to build up the courage to text Jisoo. After all, it wasn't every day that she mustered up the courage to ask out the person she had a crush on for the past year.
Finally, Rose took a deep breath and opened up her messages with Jisoo. Her heart raced as she typed out her message, carefully choosing each word.
"Hey Jisoo, I was wondering if you wanted to go out on a date with me sometime? Maybe we could grab some coffee or go to the park?"
As soon as she hit send, Rose felt a mix of excitement and anxiety. What if Jisoo didn't feel the same way about her? What if she said no? The thought alone made Rose's stomach churn.
Minutes turned into what felt like hours, and Rose was starting to give up hope. She figured Jisoo was probably busy, or maybe she was just ignoring her message altogether. That's when her phone buzzed with a new notification, and Rose's heart skipped a beat.
"Sure, that sounds great! How about we meet up at the coffee shop downtown at 2 pm tomorrow?" Jisoo had replied.
Rose's face lit up with joy as she read the message over and over again. She couldn't believe it - Jisoo had agreed to go on a date with her! She quickly typed out a response, thanking Jisoo for agreeing and telling her how excited she was.
The rest of the night, Rose was filled with anticipation and excitement. She tried to pick out the perfect outfit for their date, but nothing seemed good enough. In the end, she settled on a simple t-shirt and jeans, hoping it would be enough to impress Jisoo.
The next day, Rose arrived at the coffee shop early, her heart beating wildly in her chest. She nervously checked her phone, waiting for Jisoo to arrive. When she finally saw her walking towards the shop, Rose felt her cheeks flush with excitement.
"Hey!" Jisoo said, greeting Rose with a warm smile.
"Hey," Rose replied, feeling her heart skip a beat. "Thanks for meeting me here."
"No problem," Jisoo said, gesturing towards the door. "Shall we grab a table?"
Rose nodded, and they made their way inside. As they waited in line to order their drinks, Rose couldn't help but steal glances at Jisoo. She looked so beautiful, with her hair tied up in a ponytail and her eyes sparkling in the sunlight.
They finally made it to their table, and Rose felt a wave of nervousness wash over her. This was it - their first date. She took a deep breath and tried to relax, but her heart was pounding in her chest.
"So, what made you decide to ask me out?" Jisoo asked, sipping her coffee.
Rose took a moment to gather her thoughts before replying. "Well, I've had a crush on you for a while now, and I just couldn't keep it to myself anymore. I thought, why not take a chance and ask you out?"
Jisoo smiled, and Rose felt her heart skip a beat. "I'm glad you did. I've had a crush on you too, but I was too scared to say anything."
Rose couldn't believe it - Jisoo liked her back! She felt a surge of happiness wash over her, and she couldn't stop smiling.
They spent the rest of the afternoon chatting and getting to know each other better. Rose felt like she was floating on cloud nine, and she didn't want the date to end. Jisoo was everything Rose had hoped for and more. They had so much in common, and their conversation flowed effortlessly. Rose felt like she had known Jisoo forever.
As the sun started to set, Jisoo checked her watch and realized they had been talking for hours. "I can't believe how fast the time has flown by," she said, smiling at Rose.
