Sophie's Pov
As the thunder cracked, we all reappeared in front of a fancy-looking apartment building. I immediately spotted Mr. Forkle, and he ushered us into the elevator.
He clicked PH, and it immediately went up to the 13th floor. Once the doors opened, we were surprised at how nice it was. It kind of reminded me of home, although a lot smaller. There was a honey-colored L-shaped couch, three cream-colored bean bags, a stained wood coffee table, and a 64" plasma flat-screen TV.
The kitchen had a homey feel with a stainless steel fridge, wood counters, and a white subway tile backsplash. We had a game room and a training room. There was a private elevator inside to go to our rooms. There was also a rock climbing wall to get to the second floor. Our rooms are also amazing. Biana's is pale pink with a floor-to-ceiling window that was constantly filtering light, Linh's is pale blue with a water table, Marella's is red with a fire pit.
Fitz's is teal with a foam dummy, Keefe's is dark green with paintings and sketchbooks, Dex's is electric green with a bunch of gadgets strewn around, Tam's is just pitch black, because he said, "It matched his daily mood.", and mine is lavender with a metronome and emotion sensor to help me practice my inflicting.
On the third floor, we had a gym, with a ginormous patio, a pool, and a big outdoor table seating 16. It was also tall enough for me to teleport. Edaline conjured our stuff into our rooms, so we all left to unpack and get ready for the first day of school at Goode High.
I also had to give them a basic understanding of English so they could understand the humans, I hope they can get through tomorrow.
