I seek a blessing, a boon
I seek you in it
For I try to see the moon
And I see you in it
Would moon be the same without it's scar
Wouldn't it look like every other star
Similarly the love of mine isn't perfect
But does that mean she isn't worth it
You brighten up my world when it's night
Just like the moon does when I face fright
Let it be a constellation or an arcade
Neither will the moon's nor will your light ever fade
Yes when the sun comes up
We see the light we feel bright
But when we all seek comfort
Don't we always wait for night
We've been through phases like the moon does
And in the end with you I somehow felt whole
I thought it'll just be a no moon day when you say good bye
But even the thought of it pierced my heart and my soul
Full moon shines brighter I agree
But it doesn't make cresent less beautiful
Yes I know with you I don't have a future
But it doesn't make our present less beautiful
We don't even think about it
When it's morning when it's noon
But if really think about it
Do we deserve the moon
Similarly I know I don't deserve you
But you do deserve all the joy I can serve you
The way you shine, blinds me
The moon, of you it reminds me
