laconic (adj.) expressing much in few words; concise

SMOKE WAS COMING OUT OF THEIR MOUTH BECAUSE OF THE COLD. It's past midnight, and it looks more peaceful than daylight. The breeze also feels peaceful—it makes them more filled because of it. Every time they step forward, the more awkward it gets. Chi-won tucks his hands into his pockets while Miyeon walks silently. She just felt a little bit upset because music was her motivation every day, she hoped that this was the time where cassettes were invented.

They got back to the hotel's back door, where they escaped, they slowly entered but they were caught red-handed.

"How's the date?" Hyun Joon scoffed. "Hey, it doesn't mean that Tae Hee said that it wasn't you, you'll be free, I'm still suspecting you. But I'm sorry, t" he added and turned his back against them.

"I guess I'll see you around." Miyeon smiled and left Chi-won. Her smile wasn't a sunset that you'd look forward to, and it made him confused. Was it because of Hyun Joon? Or because I asked her to marry me? He wondered.

"Tae Hee?" But then again, Miyeon has to ask Tae Hee if they have separate houses or if they live in that hotel. She searched in the lobby, and there she was, sitting on a couch. Tae Hee glows in the night, Miyeon feels like he's a man and has a crush on Tae Hee.

"Why?"

"Do we have separate homes?"

"Ah, maybe your house key was on your pants that you wore when you woke up,"

"Thanks," She hurried to the room where she got changed and searched for the pants, and there it was.

She didn't know where the hell was her house, so she needed help from Tae Hee.

But Tae Hee doesn't know either.

Tae Hee informed her that there was a room where she sleeps sometimes, so she hurried there. As soon as she opened her room, she made a big jump through her bed, lying on the floor and slouched. A small bed that fits her whole body—not too big, not too small. The room doesn't have windows but has a small bathroom. There wasn't a television, aircon, refrigerator, bed lamps, and some staff that would barge in her hotel room while she's still sleeping.

The plain bed and the wood walls make it simple. And she needed a good night's sleep—she wondered if she'd stop borrowing Tae Hee's clothes and instead go shopping, but she doesn't even know if she's broke or not.

"Yahh, Kang Miyeon, meokja" Her sweet little sleep were just interrupted by Hyun Joon. Her hair became wiry and her eyelids were covered with eye boogers. She suddenly felt free because the one who woke her up wasn't some stranger who told her to get changed because there's an upcoming interview.

"Hey,"

"I'm coming," She responded as she folded her blanket and went straight to the sink of the kitchen and washed her face. Tae Hee, Chi-won, and Hyun Joon are just watching her. Her face was covered with water when she sat on the chair. They started eating—silently. "Thank you for the clothes, Tae Hee," Her smile reached her eyes.

Chi-won and Tae Hee looked at her except Hyun Joon. "Don't mention it," She giggled while there's food in her mouth that expanded her cheeks.

"I want to buy myself dresses, too," Miyeon said, but Hyun Joon coughs on his food that seems like he's choked.

"What's so wrong with dresses?" Tae Hee teased Hyun Joon and the meal went alive again.

Hyun Joon left them without saying anything and that's a sign where he'd go to the government office—to report, as he always does. They went out silently, but still, Miyeon did borrow some dress that she'd wear to go to a store. She wore a sunny dress that made her look younger.
