A GLOOMY SPRING IS DISAPPEARING TO BE SUMMER. Yet, Nari's schedules of interviews, radio shows, and TV shows won't be disappearing. A close to success, also close to death. Nari only sleeps three to four hours per day. She's a successful influencer but not successful when it comes to sleeping. Though she wants to sleep, she can't sleep.
Sipping on a morning coffee is one of her favorite things in a day. But after finishing her cup full of coffee, her schedule isn't going to work on just one full cup of coffee.
She needs to rest, at least have a vacation. She's desperate.
She's in a luxury hotel room where she will stay for a while because an interview will be tonight. At least this morning, she's alone, not until her room will be full of makeup artists, hairstylists, and some staff. Nari wants some air before her hotel room will be full of people. Nari wears her coat and wears a mask to hide her identity.
But right after she opened her door, a delivery man attacked her, and she flinched.
"Nari Park?" The delivery man asks with a big smile on his face while Nari gets a little suspicious about the smile. The delivery man didn't even bother if Nari was a celebrity or not. Nari nods as a response. "You have a delivery," The delivery man says as he passes a Ziploc transparent plastic. Inside, it shows a brown vintage envelope.
"Thanks?" Nari frowns because of a random package. "Where is it from?" Nari adds.
"You can check at the back of the package."
"Thanks," Nari said while the delivery man disappeared. No matter how much she is annoyed about the random package, she's also curious about what's inside it. Nari closes the door from her back by leaning on it. She checks the information sticker at the back of the package. It shows that the delivery man was from SAMSAN express.
Nari sits on the couch and spreads the package at the coffee table. Why does she have to receive this brown envelope all of a sudden? Nari opens the envelope showing a plane ticket and a hotel ticket to Jeju island.
"You gotta be kidding me," Nari exclaims. She wants a vacation. She wants to rest, Nari doesn't want some phone calls incoming while she sleeps, she doesn't want to be disturbed by fans, at least for a day.
But the thing is, today's the flight.
But who sent these? A fan? A saesang? Maybe a kidnapper?
Nari shakes her hands and rubs them in her jeans. "This is the BREAK I want," Nari whines. Can she at least run away? for a moment?
Nari wants verification. So she calls her Assistant/cousin's phone number.
Answer. Answer, please...
"The person you dialed can't come to the phone right now."
"Jeez," Nari calls Yeo again.
"What's up? My phone just started," Yeo answers.
"Does Samsan express exist?"
"I haven't heard of it. Maybe it's new, wait, let me check it out." Yeo says as she holds the call. Nari puts the call on speaker and leaves it on the table waiting for Yeo. She closes her eyes and rubs her nose bridge because it's so strange to receive a package from an unknown person. Ten minutes passed, and Yeo got back to the phone. "Nari?" She asks—as if she's nervous about something.
"What?" Nari folds her arms over her chest.
"Samsan doesn't exist,"
"Was this some prank or something?" Nari says—annoyed.
"What's inside it?"
"It's my only lifesaver," Nari pouts. It is. It is her last option to escape because the company she works for knows all of her activities. Her credit card, debit card, what she buys, where she goes is all recorded. It's not weird for her. Nari Park is a celebrity at all.
