HELLO! by the time this is published, i will likely be asleep BUT MERRY CHRISTMAS! my present from me to you is the official announcement for the release of the rewrite of When Fire Meets Ice! some of you will be familiar with the storyline and what happens through it, though i have made few tweaks to what has happened in the original book and implemented them into this one.

i'm not good with different POV's other than first person (and some people seem to not like first person POV's for some reason 🤧) SO i'm going to switch it up a little bit and make this book second person.

IN THIS BOOK, YOU ARE YOU. this is NOT a Levi x OC.

THE AGE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOU AND LEVI IS THREE YEARS. the main plotline ages are 25 for Y/N and 28 for Levi.

DIFFERENT FROM THE ORIGINAL BOOK, you WILL be TALLER THAN LEVI BY A FEW INCHES, Levi being 5'3 and you being anywhere from 5'5 up to 5'8, depending on what you want, though height specifics won't be mentioned regularly throughout the book!

THE PACING IN THIS IS FASTER THAN DEFIANCE! Defiance is definitely a slowburn, no doubt. i had nearly one thousand dedicated readers eagerly and impatiently waiting for SOMETHING to happen between Y/N and Levi.

I WILL BE MAKING SOME TWEAKS IN THE CANON PLOT. this will NOT accurately follow the anime or manga.

THERE WILL BE MENTIONS AND GRAPHIC DEPICTIONS OF SUICIDE, HOMICIDE AND GORE. i will be putting warnings at the beginning of the chapters where these triggers are present. PLEASE don't say i didn't warn you.

AND FOR YOU LIL HORNIES, there WILL be smut, GUARANTEED!

this book will begin in the year 837, starting in your past where your age is twelve. when back in the canon timeline, the book will start from mid 57th expedition.

YOU are from the L/N clan, a family formerly persecuted in the Underground before they escaped to the surface and went into hiding somewhere in Wall Maria.

the first born of every generation within the clan is granted with the abilities of enhanced senses and strength rivalling that of the Ackerman's.

YOU are that first born, and in order to gain your power, an awakening is required through a sense of defense.

ALSO! each chapter will be numbered in te reo maori which is my country's native language! i will be writing how to pronounce the number at the beginning of each chapter if you're willing to learn! it's rather easy, some numbers will have notes on how to pronounce two or more letters together, happy learning!
