The summer season has arrived as Father decided to take us to this tropical planet. Let the family relax and Dad can take part in an event sponsored by central command. Once the ship got close to the planet Dad got us from the captain's suite that we were staying in and took us to the transport place to be teleported to the planet.

I took a deep breath and inhaled, smelling the salt water. Feeling the warm sun that beamed on this land. So many places and I never thought to ever see the ocean. I know Mom always wanted to see one. "So, this is an event is for the command, correct?" Mom asked. "Yes, but this place is always open to everyone after or before the event. But I thought bringing you guys, like a vacation would be nice." Dad said. "Surprising," Mom muttered, but Dad seemed to not hear her. Murray looked at her. "Well, I'm going to go do something. Jetpack thing." He spoke. "I wanna do it," I said, seeing a few folks go by with jet packs.

I wanted to go up in the air. Think it would be fun and cool. "No." Mom said, sternly. "Maybe one year but not this year," Dad said. I huffed as Boo seemed to already find herself with shape-making toys for the sand. I decided to go over to join her in making the sand, as Dad went off to do what he needed to do while Mom watched Boo and me.

After a while Boo and I played in the sand, and Mom joined in. Dad came back and decided to show us around the resort, which didn't feel like there was a lot, but I really like the place with all the big birds. "Mommy? Daddy? Could I have one?" I asked. "No, you have that weird, deformed thing that you have. So, no birds. It's bad enough we have that thing." Mom said. I groaned knowing she was right that I still had to take care of Void. I loved Void, don't get me wrong, but Dad gets all these kinds of pets to only get rid of them. "Okay, Mommy." I sighed.  We made our way down to what seemed to be a lot of surfboards.

I noticed my Dad's eyes grow big as his eyes spotted a pink one, which I found a little strange. But as I thought of it, I remember it from a movie that he made me watch. What was it called, Back From The Future? Or was it Back To The Future? I could never remember it that bit correctly. Dad decided to buy it as Mom rolled her eyes. "Shuch a child." She sighed.

I don't get why Mom and Dad stay together, even if things have gotten better. I wonder when it will stop, probably never. While Dad was doing this, I felt something strange happen in my heart. Like a flutter of unpatten beats but then it goes back to normal. I shook it off because it's been like that very rarely, so I never said anything because of how rarely it happens. It has been like this for a while, even before we got here.

Dad came back with the board with a big smile on his face. "And what are you going to do with that?" Mom asked. "Ride this bitch, what else do you think?" He asked. "yeah, then fall into the water, though it will be very humorous." She chuckled. Dad rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah. I wouldn't be able to get it if I didn't learn how to. So, yeah. I basically taught myself." Dad said. "Hm, I must say I am impressed, Murray." She said. "Hey Mo, you want to ride with me?" He asked.

My eyes got big with a big smile. "YES PLEASE!" I said. "You better be careful with her, or I'll have your throat Murray." Mom snapped. "I promise Lilly." He said. "You better." She said. "Let's get you a swimsuit," Dad said, as he took me by the hand and went off. Once Dad and I got there he was grabbing it as my eyes traveled around, taking in with the view. Until something happened, something kinda bad. Mascilin hands touching a young woman in places in a corner. It made me shiver as if I could almost feel the disgusting hands on me as well. Thankfully someone saw this and put a stop to it and gave care to the women. A lot of men, like women's bodies. I find it wrong and gross.                                                 | Trigger Warning |

I like to believe even without the trauma, I will still feel the same about this. It wasn't until years, I found other people felt the same and experienced nothing like that. I looked at my dad, as he eyed the issue. Knowing he's an eyer than the other man.

Dad walked over as I looked up at him. "Here you go, I'll let get changed." He said, as he took me to a place to get changed alone, I came out and went out to the ocean. He set down his bored on the water, as I eyed back. Making sure that man was indeed gone, but I had to remind myself there or others and as long I am close to my parents. I am safe, especially the ones that claim to have free candy.

I turned back to look at the board as Dad kept it still as he could as I got on the board, as it floated a bit above the water. "Wow!' I said as Dad got on. I decided to stay on my hands and knees, due to the lack of balance and felt safest like this, while Dad stood on it. "Hold on tight." He said as we went off. It wasn't all too fast but it was still fun as the water splashed here and there. Took some ramps off as I gigged away. Once we came to a halt a voice called out. "Nice board, Mcfly!" A guy said, as Dad and I looked over to see George. "Long time no see," Dad said, as I gave a small wave. Dad moved the bored towards his way. He got off the board and walked over. "How have you been?" Dad asked. "Been fine, you know just like everyone else. "Explore the space and go where no one bonds go.' Or whatever, but I have been enjoying it. I must admit, it is very insisting." George said. "Agreed.' Dad said as he's eyes looked over to me. "Hey Mo, how have you been?" He asked, "Good." I spoke, quietly. "That's good. Will you become a great caption one day?" He asked. "Mhm!" I gave a nod. "I can see it." He said as he looked back to Dad. "It was nice catching up with you Murray. I'll see you around, I have to get back to my ship." He said. "Alright then, see you later and take care," Dad said. "I will." He said.

Though with those to never realized how much it reminded me with Wish and I. Kinda strange how that works out. Fate is just that way, I assume.

Dad and I made our way back to Mom after George left, I told Mom how much fun surfing was, and Dad said that they were having a little dance party, but we were all worn out for the day, as the setting sun was fading away from the water. It was very pretty, though as much fun as I had here today. There wasn't really a lot here. But I don't mind, as long as I have fun.

We all teleported back to Dad's ship and went back to our room while Dad went back to work. At some point, I told Mom what I saw happen and felt bad but helped explain it to kinda soothe me and warn me about some people. Though told me there are even worse people out there who will end your life after they feel done with the other folk. Why are people like this? Why do people have to be this bad? I know everyone's not like that but still. Aren't folks the true monsters? Killing the innocent.

But aren't we all innocent until we become the monster?

Or are we born to become the monster?
