~Massimo's POV~
I felt awful. I saw the way my sorellina's eyes sunk when I spoke to her like that. I did miss her. Way more than I think my brothers ever did. I was the most attached to her and I always blamed myself for not protecting her from being taking even though I was only a kid. I should have done more. Seeing her as a teenager and not that cute little toddler that would crawl into my bed at night when she had a nightmare hurt me. We had lost so much time with her. So many brithdays, Christmases, New Years. We had missed so much in her life because of the Russain mafia and that bastard Viktor Ivanov. It pissed me off so much and that made me lash out and say things I didn't mean to her. I followed Marcelo upstairs to dad's office. He closed the door behind us and turned to me with his icy glare.
"What the fuck were you thinking, speaking to her like that, she just met us after 12 years and you decided to say that to her!" Marcelo yelled at me with a hint of his mafia tone. Although Dad was the head of the family, Marcelo had a certain control over me and my brothers. Marcelo had always been a leader regardless of what he did and that didn't stop here at home. I could tell he was getting pissed because I hadn't answered him yet.
"It's none of your fucking business Marcelo, you seem to forget that I'm actually a fucking adult!" I yelled back.
"Then act like one dumbass, Aria didn't deserve that just cause you can't keep your emotions under control, so you better apologise to her."
"No, why would I apologise when I meant everything that I said to her." I said crossing my arms.
"Bullshit, you didn't mean a thing that you said, but if you insist that you do, don't bother talking to her. She's a sweet 15 year old girl who just met her family, she doesn't deserve to be treated like that by her own brother." Marcelo retorted.
"Whatever, don't care, I'm out." I left the room and a scowling Marcelo behind and headed to my own room and locked the door behind me. I slid down on my bed and sighed. Turning to the left of me, where my beside table was, I saw the photo frame that contained a photo of me and Aria when we kids.
She was just a toddler and barely able to walk in a straight line for more than 10 seconds and I was there cuddling her protectively.Mama took the picture. She always loved how protective I was over my sorellina even at that young age. I sighed out at seeing the picture. I really did miss my sorellina, but I can't get attached just for her to be taken from me again.
~Aria's POV~
"Ok boys how about you show my princepessa around the house and to her room and you can take her out shopping." Dad said to us while we were all laughing and joking.
"I don't need anything, you don't have to spend any money on me, really." I said out loud. It really wasn't needed. I had the nessecities and some clothes so I'd be fine.
" Yeah we're not taking no for answer Ari, let us treat you, let us make up for all the birthdays and christmases that we missed," Leonardo said softly to me.
"I never celebrated either, so you didn't miss anything, really don't waste any money on me." I said clutching my violin case tighter.
"Now we have to buy you something, and it's not wasting money when it's on you sorellina." Vincenzo added. I could see they weren't going to take no for an answer, so I reluctantly gave in.
"Fine, but lets not go overboard." My brothers nodded in agreement, but I had a feeling that didn't matter.
"How come you never celebrated your birthday or christmas?" Alessandro curiously asked appearing next to me.
"Well, umm, my adoptive carers didn't really do christmas or birthdays and it might sound a little silly andit'skinda embarrassing, but I err don't know when my birthday is." I said avoiding their shocked gazes. None of them said anything for a while, "Don't just stare me, say something, I know it's weird." I said softly. Alessandro came and hugged me tight making me wince at the pain in my back, but I didn't show it. When he released me, I noticed a sad look on his face.
"They didn't tell you when your birthday was?" Vincenzo asked shocked. I shook my head no.
"I don't think they knew it to be honest, apparently all I came with was my name and age, that's it and my parents who probably wanted the money that came with looking after me didn't question it."
Again no one said anything for a while but my dad and brothers shared a look. Almost as if they knew something I didn't.
"Well it'll be different here with us and your birthday is on the 15th of October by the way." Luciano said draping his arm over my shoulder reassuringly. I smiled at him.
"Thank you, I always felt weird not knowing."
"Well don't worry about being weird here baby sis, Laz is the king of weird." Luciano ruflled my hair and I laughed at Lazaro's scowl.
"First off shut up Luci and second of all I forgot to mention it, but I noticed you have violin, do you play a lot." Lazaro said with wide eyes.
"Yeah I love music I play guitar as well both acoustic and electric, but my parents sold my guitars even though I saved up for them, they would have sold my violin too, but I hid it."
"Do you like music?" Leo asked.
"I love it, it relaxes me, lats me escape, you know." All my brothers smiled at me, it was nice to feel accepted. I didn't feel as if I spoke I'd get hit or ridiculed. Maybe they were lying though. Maybe they were pretending to be nice to me and when I felt settled they would get me. They don't seem like that though. I'm probably being paranoid, but I can't get too comfortable here.
"How about we take you on that tour now?" Dad asked. I nodded excitedly I couldn't wait to see this entire house.
"Vin, Leo, come with me, you can join them later, I need to talk to you." Vincenzo and Leo ruffled my hair and followed dad off upstairs.
"You get to tour with your coolest brothers, lets go!" Alessandro said linking our arms.
~Timeskip 11:30am~
This house was so much bigger inside then on. There were 5 floors. The very ground floor was home to a indoor pool even though there were already ones outside in the back garden and front garden.
