Me and Sophia were in one of the bedrooms, changing into swimsuits so that we could go in the pool. I was self-conscious to be honest. I had so many scars that littered my body and my brothers hadn't even seen the extent of them. Luckily, the words that have been carved into my skin were in places that I could hide easily. I was wearing a tie dye swimsuit with a bow in the front. Dad let me pick it out when we went shopping together. I think Sophia noticed my nerves because she asked about it. "Hey Ari, are you feeling alright?" she asked concerned. "My scars are making me self conscious, my brothers haven't seen them properly and I'm just worried they'll all stare and ask me questions. I don't want to relive any trauma today." I said shakily and Sophia surprised me by hugging me. "Your scars are beautiful Ari and they show just how strong you are, I don't know what you've been through, but it's over now and I'm here for you and if any of those idiots stare, I'll punch them in the face." she said into my hair and I giggled,"Now come on, lets go relax in the pool." she said taking my hand. ~Outside at the pool~ "Now I don't want anyone of you morons to stare at Ria's scars and if you do I'll right hook you in the face with my rings on, understood?" Sophia said hands on her hips. The boys just nodded silently at her tone and I laughed. "Alright, you can come out now Ria, I've given them their warning." I walked out timidly and even though no one said anything, I could see the boys' eyes widen in shock. "Alright, come on Ria, we call the car floatie," Sophia said taking my hand and leading me to the pool.
