"so how has life been treating you lately?" Asked Avery
"oh nothing much to be honest. My parents died like a week after my graduation and ever since then ive kind of been by myself but you know that's always fun I guess" replied Jordan with pain in their voice. They never really got to talk to anyone about it seeming as they've been on their own for 7 years.
"oh darling I'm so sorry. I would have come to find you sooner, had I found out."
And with that she pulled Jordan into a loving embrace. Her smell was enchanting, notes of raspberry and vanilla filled the air as they held each other. Avery pulled away with tears in her eyes and a warm smile on her face.
"what's wrong my love?" Jordan said, confused "why are you crying?"
"I'm just" she paused for a moment. "so incredibly happy to have you in my arms again"
"I too missed you so much" Jordan replied while wiping the tears away from Avery's eyes "my bounty is as boundless as the sea, my love as deep; the more I give to thee, the more I have for both are infinite" Jordan vowed
"you still remember your lines from Romeo and Juliet?" questioned Avery
"of course, I do love, its where we first kissed." Jordan continued.
"I love you more than words or actions can show" claimed Avery. She really meant it, she loved Jordan so much it made her sick.
"you should go upstairs and rest my love" said Jordan empathetically "you need it. I will make you some food while you are asleep"
"what about you?" asked Avery
"don't worry about me darling I will manage just fine"
Avery started to head up stairs to get some rest as her partner had told her. She needed to go to the bathroom so she looked around to find it on her way there she walked past one of the rooms that had the door locked. She decided to walk past it and not worry too much because she didn't want to be nosey but deep down she felt something was off. Just as she had passed the door a horrible smell hit her. It smelt like something had either died or was dying because it was absolutely disgusting. Her curiosity got the best of her and she decided to try and unlock the door.
