She tipped out he backpack to look for something to pick the lock with, trying to be as quiet as she can as to not alert Jordan of what she was up to.
"found it" she whispered to herself as she picked up to black bobby-pins from the floor. She started shoving her stuff back into her bag. too eager to wait she started twisting the bobby pins around in the key hole hoping to get it open as quick as she can.

Went the lock and she slowly opened the door which she instantly regretted because the smell only got 100 times worse. She plugged her nose with tampons that she had in her back pocket but they did not work very well." She opened the door the rest of the way. And there in front of her was to large pieces of meat hanging from hooks that you would find in your local butchers' shop in the display window. They both had a few pieces missing that were about the size of a rasher of bacon.
"that's weird" Avery thought to herself "Jordan doesn't own any cattle. I'm pretty sure they are vegetarian"
She started scanning the meat up and down with her eyes and then it clicked.
"these are dead bodies" Avery covered her mouth to stop her vomit from coming out of her mouth and onto the carpeted floor of Jordan's house. She shut the door and she ran to find the bathroom which, luckily was only two doors down from the room that she was previously in. while throwing up she had a million thoughts rushing through her head.
"how did I trust them?"
"who are those people"
"where was their skin?"
So many questions, so many thoughts at once.
She decided to actually try and sleep this time, hoping it was all just a bad dream. She woke up a few hours later to Jordan caressing her hand
"I made you some food my love"
"what it is?" questioned Avery cautiously
"bacon and eggs" Said Jordan.
Avery started to feel sick again. Just thinking about food was too much.
"ok" Avery said with a smile that was faker than all of the girls in her grade 11 high school class and all of them had nose jobs.
They both headed down stairs with their hands intertwined.
She sat down at the table and started to eat the bacon but something felt, or rather, tasted odd. It didn't taste normal
"where did you get the bacon?" Avery was extremely sceptical about it
"I sourced it myself" smiled Jordan.
Avery felt sick to her stomach. She remembered seeing the pieces of meat missing from the bodies that were in the room.
"is something wrong my love" asked Jordan
"no, not at all sweetheart" Avery lied
She needed to get out of that house before she too became one of the bodies in the room. She had to come up with a plan to get out. But as soon as she started to think about what to do to escape, she started to feel extremely lethargic and fatigued, when everything went black. Jordan had drugged the tea that she had given Avery earlier with sleeping pills. Something that wouldn't kill her, but made she they had enough time to move her into the basement.
