For the past few months, Sakunosuke and Fumiko has been meeting quite frequently at the white cafe, the two has find comfort between each other and always looking forward to seeing each other every each day.

Unfortunately for these past few weeks both of them has been quite busy and especially Fumiko hasn't been coming to the cafe.

She had told Sakunosuke that she might won't be coming for few weeks or months, but she promised him to come as soon as she can until her job is done.

Sakunosuke told her to not being rush by her work and took all the time she can, he too promise her that he'll wait for her and he sure they will eventually meet again even if it's not here.

Fumiko has hold onto his words and hope they will meet again soon, but it's seems like fate has different plan for them instead.

As the Armed Detective Agency has been officially open, Fumiko has been quite busy because of the lack of staff as for now only the three of them are in the agency.

Ranpo and Fumiko has been taking cases they could and walk around almost everyday solving cases. And when they had free time they would need to do the paper works and most of them only Fumiko the one who did as Ranpo said he doesn't like doing all those things.

Thankfully, Fumiko didn't really mind about that and gladly do the paper works with the help of Fukuzawa. The two sometimes even spend the night doing all the work.

Soon later, the three has heard rumour about an ability user who survived the war and now being isolate somewhere. Fukuzawa was eager to get the girl to be  on our agency so she told the two they will get the ability user no matter what.

As they knew Mori also wanted the ability user due to the girl ability were able to heal anyone, even revive someone from death, a very powerful ability indeed.

But Fukuzawa didn't want to use the ability for himself, he heard the story about the girl and he wanted to free her from her suffer, that's all what he wanted and also with the other two.

Fukuzawa end up had a fight with Mori and declare that the Armed Detective Agency are not alliance with the mafia anymore.

At the end, Ranpo sneak the young lady and they successfully bring her back to the agency safely.

"Hello, you mist be Yosano Akiko" greeted Fumiko as the three arrived at the agency "I heard about you from Fukuzawa-san" Fumiko didn't receive any response form the girl as she just stay silent.

"You see, you don't have to worry about anything here we'll protect you and now you can relax and keep you past behind" Fumiko took hold of the girl hand "you can start new here" she reassured the girl.

A small sobs could be heard coming from the younger girl as she quietly trapped in the warm hug of Fumiko.

Fumiko could feel the sorrow from the girl, she must have been facing many things and Fumiko praised the girl for being strong and holding on to survive.

The two girl quickly warmed to each other and Fumiko trying very hard day by day to bring the life back to Yosano and let the girl feel how good it is to be alive.

And in the blink of an eye, a year has past since they got a new member. Fumiko realize that the promise she made with Sakunosuke are only left as empty promise by now, she somehow feel bad but perhaps the boy himself have forgotten her?

Perhaps not.
