Lightbeat Entertainment surprised fans with the announcement that Echo member LEO will be on hiatus until further notice after getting into a fight with Brutal Member Lee. The two had attended soloist MYUNGs exclusive idol party when the fight suddenly broke out between the two idols. After the tweets fans demanded that R.E.D. Entertainment and Lightbeat Entertainment release a statement saying who is at fault and to apologize. Lightbeat then came out with the following statement.
"Hello this is Lightbeat Entertainment,
Following the events from yesterday our artist LEO (Park Taesoo) will be on hiatus until further notice. After speaking with LEO we have found that he is guilty of unintentionally starting the fight by pushing Brutal member Jun. We understand our artist's part in the situation and he is now reflecting on it. On behalf of Leo the company would like to apologize for his actions. We will educate and discipline our artists to prevent situations like this in the future."
Many fans were shocked to find that Leo did in fact start the fight claiming it was "out of character" for him and "very disrespectful". Other netizens claim that LEO should face punishment for his actions.
