Y/N pov: After a while I went back inside. I lied on my bed and somehow managed to fall asleep almost immediately. Normally I would cry myself to sleep on nights like this. But for some reason , I was fine. I guess all I needed was to talk to someone.
~a few days later~
Jungkook pov: I had woken up a few hours ago and spent most of the day cleaning my room and organising the house. Even though it had been over 2 weeks since we moved in, I was too lazy to start. I made breakfast for my mom who was eating happily. "By the way Jungkook" she started "the neighbour invited us over for dinner today" "Ok mum, what time are we going?" I asked "About 4pm, she wants us to come early so we can get to know each other" she replied
Y/N pov: "Y/N" my mom said calling me downstairs I skipped down the stairs "Yes" "I invited the new neighbours over to have dinner today. I know you wanted to study today but I'm gonna need you here to translate" she said smiling "It's okay mum don't worry" I said "They are going to be here in 2 hours, so make sure your room is clean. And tell your lazy brother to get off his games" she yelled as I ran back upstairs to continue studying.
Jungkook pov: I got dressed into a casual outfit as I had been wearing pyjamas non-stop for the last week. Outfit:

Y/N pov I looked at the time '03:45' 'Shit' I said to myself as I looked around at my messy room and my messy self. I quickly cleaned up and got dressed Outfit:

I styled my hair with a claw clip and did some light makeup. Then the doorbell rang...
Jungkook pov: We were infront of their door and I rang the doorbell. Y/N's mom opened the door and led us to the living room. I sat there awkwardly for a while as it was just me and our moms. Then finally she came down.
Y/N pov: I came down to see Jungkook sitting there awkwardly in between my mom and his mom. My mom kept talking to him and I could see he was not enjoying it. "Hello" I said with a bow (in korean) to Jungkook's mom. She said it back "Y/N come sit down" my mom said. I glanced over at Jungkook who was giving me a 'save me' face "Actually mom I think it's better if me and Jungkook go upstairs. I said "Oh ok" she said Jungkook followed me out of the living room and up the stairs. He didn't say a word till we got to my room.
